Idk if anyone said already but Ten was born and raised in Thailand which is why he has a Thai name and nationality is Thai but he's ethnically Chinese! There is a guide I think about Sungchan and Shotaro! Although they're no longer NCT I believe it's important to know about them when they were in NCT. Plus I consider Riize a unofficial unit of NCT lmao and there is also a pre debut guide for the new unit NCT Wish, although you can just wait til there is a updated on once they debut although you could also watch that in time before their debut. Someone already probably said but the youngest in NCT now is 07 meaning there is now a 13 year difference between Taeil and Ryo and Sakuya. I also think it's important kind of to know about some almost NCT members like Hansol who was trained with some NCT members but left SM and then the whole NCT Universe show where Sungtaro was part of along with new trainees Seunghan, Shohei, and Eunseok who two are in Riize and one is still a trainee (not sure what SM is going to do with him atp)

It took me over a year to learn all the NCT members but that is only because I deliberately put it off for so long XD So I'm sure you can do it! My biases so far are Jaemin, Jungwoo, Taeyong, Ten, YangYang, Hendery, Kun, Chenle and maybe Jeno and Winwin and Yuta as well :P Just a few! One area where this guide might cause a slight misunderstanding was that SM didn't change NCT Dream's graduation system because of Mark specifically. They changed it because at the end of 2020 Jisung and Chenle would have been the only ones left and I guess they either didn't have any other trainees that were ready to debut at that time or they didn't want to risk debuting a new group at the height of the pandemic. So Mark being added back in happened because of the graduation system's cancellation, not the other way around.

I don't have a favorite unit because I'm a firm believer in supporting all of NCT equally (totally okay if you have a favorite unit though, a lot of people do and it's fine as long as you obviously don't speak about or treat the other members and units badly), but I definitely have a firm bias list lol My ults are Taeyong, Kun, and Jeno, with strong biases in Sion, Yuta, Xiaojun, Chenle, Doyoung and Mark. My favorite songs from the units (which I highly recommend as well) are: NCT U - "Universe (Let's Play Ball)" and "Faded In My Last Song" (b-side) NCT 127 - "Limitless" and "Ay-Yo" NCT Dream - "Hello Future" and "Poison" (b-side) WayV - "Phantom" and "On My Youth" NCT DoJaeJung - "Can We Go Back" NCT Wish - "Hands Up" (this is their only song so far and its a predebut track, but its a lot of fun! They officially debut in February though if you're interested)
I don't know about the other groups but I find that the groups I do stan seems to be more familiar and brotherly than business relationships because NCT members have trained together for years, their training period overlaps, they're part of SM's training program SM ROOKIES (most of them) and some of the pre-debut exposures, they have done together even not knowing they'll be part of a future big group later on. They also don't have a big age gap, like within the 21 members in the guide the eldest and youngest has an 7/8 year age gap and most of the members share another member that's the same age as them.
i feel like weekly idol episodes give you a real sense of what their personalities are like so that might be the next step? my fav unit is nct dream so i would recommend you to watch their ep first:) they were on weekly idol multiple times but there are only two times all 7 members were there, i recommend the one that came out in 2018 (ep 371) because since that was their first appearance on there, they made profiles for each of the members which is really informative if you're a new fan and tells you a lot about their personalities and their group dynamics in general, it's just perfect for getting to know them better)

If you want to get into NCT I recommend doing it one unit at a time so that way is easier to learn their names. The sub-units are NCT DREAM, NCT 127, NCT DDJ, Way V, NCT U(not a fixed unit, they choose the members that fits the song better) and the new one NCT WISH. They wont add any new members from now on.
I love NCT! My fav unit is NCT Dream! Hope you react to TripleS as well, they are like the girl version of NCT!😅 They have 24 members and divided in small units. Special thing abt them is that the fans got to choose the songs from the list of songs spoiler for their comebacks! And you may have more shock of their ages (01-09) for the moment, we still don’t know if 4 members will include 00s or 10s! Also the youngest idol right now is Seowon from Unis (Universe Ticket survival show- one of my fav show last year), she is 11 liner and she’s super talented!❤

Yeah since 2023, things of changed cause members left. Lucas isn't in NCT anymore and I don't know if this guide mentions them but members sunchan and shotaro aren't in there either. The concept of adding members has also ended and there is now a new fixed sub-unit of NCT called NCT Wish which is a Japanese sub-unit like how WayV is the chinese sub-unit

Thank you for the reaction! NCT 127 and NCT Dream's killing voices is really a must, if you have the time, i strongly recommend. WayV's last 2 albums are works of art, we call them the theater unit. And NCT WISH has a pre debut song called 'Hands Up' wich is a bop. Cuties. And giiiiiirllll NCT U is A.MA.ZING. Probably my favorite unit because I never know what to expect or who. Always a surprise box. All the albums are insanely good.

I like this guide for an intro to how NCT works but hate how little it mentions about WayV (WayV was new when this guide was made but even considering that it mentions very little about WayV member). If you were to react to a WayV guide I'd recommend - (un)HELPFUL guide to WayV l 2021 by Lao Gan Ma Even though it is outdated and includes Lucas (who is still worth learning about and appreciating despite no longer being in NCT) it's still the best WayV guide we have and really gives you an idea about the members even if it doesn't include recent content that really highlights their talent. -- Obviously each unit deserves their own guide - however I can't say for sure what guide is best for the other units, they're either great but outdated or don't show off all of the members well/fairly (and Yuta always seems to get the short end of the stick despite being so talented)

I don't have a favorite unit because I'm a firm believer in supporting all of NCT equally (totally okay if you have a favorite unit though, a lot of people do and it's fine as long as you obviously don't speak about or treat the other members and units badly), but I definitely have a firm bias list lol My ults are Taeyong, Kun, and Jeno, with strong biases in Sion, Yuta, Xiaojun, Chenle, Doyoung and Mark.
My favorite songs from the units (which I highly recommend as well) are:
NCT U - "Universe (Let's Play Ball)" and "Faded In My Last Song" (b-side)
NCT 127 - "Limitless" and "Ay-Yo"
NCT Dream - "Hello Future" and "Poison" (b-side)
WayV - "Phantom" and "On My Youth"
NCT DoJaeJung - "Can We Go Back"
NCT Wish - "Hands Up" (this is their only song so far and its a predebut track, but its a lot of fun! They officially debut in February though if you're interested)

I don't know about the other groups but I find that the groups I do stan seems to be more familiar and brotherly than business relationships because NCT members have trained together for years, their training period overlaps, they're part of SM's training program SM ROOKIES (most of them) and some of the pre-debut exposures, they have done together even not knowing they'll be part of a future big group later on. They also don't have a big age gap, like within the 21 members in the guide the eldest and youngest has an 7/8 year age gap and most of the members share another member that's the same age as them.
i feel like weekly idol episodes give you a real sense of what their personalities are like so that might be the next step? my fav unit is nct dream so i would recommend you to watch their ep first:) they were on weekly idol multiple times but there are only two times all 7 members were there, i recommend the one that came out in 2018 (ep 371) because since that was their first appearance on there, they made profiles for each of the members which is really informative if you're a new fan and tells you a lot about their personalities and their group dynamics in general, it's just perfect for getting to know them better)

If you want to get into NCT I recommend doing it one unit at a time so that way is easier to learn their names. The sub-units are NCT DREAM, NCT 127, NCT DDJ, Way V, NCT U(not a fixed unit, they choose the members that fits the song better) and the new one NCT WISH. They wont add any new members from now on.
I love NCT! My fav unit is NCT Dream! Hope you react to TripleS as well, they are like the girl version of NCT!😅 They have 24 members and divided in small units. Special thing abt them is that the fans got to choose the songs from the list of songs spoiler for their comebacks! And you may have more shock of their ages (01-09) for the moment, we still don’t know if 4 members will include 00s or 10s! Also the youngest idol right now is Seowon from Unis (Universe Ticket survival show- one of my fav show last year), she is 11 liner and she’s super talented!❤

Lucas isn't in NCT anymore and I don't know if this guide mentions them but members sunchan and shotaro aren't in there either. The concept of adding members has also ended and there is now a new fixed sub-unit of NCT called NCT Wish which is a Japanese sub-unit like how WayV is the chinese sub-unit

Jisung is not the maknae of NCT as a whole anymore (he still and will be the maknae of nct dream) SM released a new and last unit of NCT which is NCT WISH were 5/6 of the members are younger than jisung, the 2 youngest is 2007 liner. They are now a 26 member group

Even though it is outdated and includes Lucas (who is still worth learning about and appreciating despite no longer being in NCT) it's still the best WayV guide we have and really gives you an idea about the members even if it doesn't include recent content that really highlights their talent.

Obviously each unit deserves their own guide - however I can't say for sure what guide is best for the other units, they're either great but outdated or don't show off all of the members well/fairly (and Yuta always seems to get the short end of the stick despite being so talented)
