What is this game. It looks absolutely wonderful! Amazing visuals and a cast of creatures and organisms that just feel so alive, to the point where it actually activates my fight or flight by just looking at this video. I’m gonna need to look further into this.
Rain World, its very tough and minimalistic in terms of story but the world and everything in it is detailed and it has really robust ai so they act and move around like living creatures, down to the predators just wanting to look for food and being able to tame or manipulate some of them based on their instincts. It feels good to explore and play, especially since the only way to get better is to become more familiar with the landscape/flora and fauna and basic mechanics as opposed to leveling or something.
0:43 JFC that one was NFSL for me, a fond friend of the scavengers, as the texture of the explosison made it seem like the poor scavenger just exploded into blood and gore everywhere 😭 we sleep together in the shoorlines every night 😭
