I was excited to see a new video so soon! I love the longer videos so I was originally skeptical of this new approach, but I think I actually prefer it
I wonder if the upcoming wonders of the world have mythology stories woven through them? (Fusing your two best genres.... myths and creation stories with history)
Thank you so much for this! I assumed that it was a remake (albeit with a great cast) and decided not to be disappointed. Now I’d really love to see it, particularly since I loved the original. But I appreciate that you’re a Tim Burton devotee and expert and that already hooks me in as a moviegoer. You’re right about pacing too. Original Beetlejuice was exciting but mellow, and Marvel movies nowadays are high action but boring. Will now watcn Beetlejuice x 2 from your recommendation ❤. Subbed too!

The order of which you treat the wonders of the world is interesting. Antipatros lists them: 1. The hanging gardens of Semiramis, 2. The colossus of Rhodos, 3. The mausoleum of Halikarnassos, 4. The lighthouse of Alexandria, 5. The pyramids of Gizeh, 6. The Artemis temple of Ephesos, 7. The Zeus statue by Phidias of Olympia
I just list them from last to first built, because it helps me connect the historical contexts, and also I needed the pyramid to come last because I already did a video about it that I will recycle when I compile the series.
