As a person who has 1k kills he's not the best character due to bakugo, todaroki, and deku (also his mastery), also stain and his mastery being op also his ult so I would say dabi is at least better then deku base (no mastery) also better then his ult, warp portal can't compete with dabi cause if you use his ult to kill people you can't even get any other moves of a person except for reality collapse Todoroki is better Bakugo is better Deku's mastery is better Stain and his mastery is better But daki is good once you learn him Getting 5 or 3 streaks with dabi makes dabi better in your opinion but really people don't realize that if he gets mastery they are just gonna grind __________________________ My list. bro got 1k kills and talking like he knows allat ult goes to dabi. why? cuz his ult can do combos unlike any other character ults plus his M1 range is increased. dabi mains having a field day when using their ults coz boi oh boi you feel like a god whenever you're in 1 (tbf all the ults makes you feel like a god but nothing compares to dabi's ult) you got an M1 with a damage and range increase, a grab that deals 40%, an AOE FREEZE THAT IS SO GREAT FOR TEAMERS, A FLAMETHROWER THAT IS ALSO GREAT FOR TEAMERS (AND RESETS FOR EVERY KILL YOU GET), AND A SATISFYING ULT THAT DEALS 50% WHAT MORE COULD YOU ASK FOR. best for teamers is tied between mastery deku and dabi coz they both have something in common which is crowd control, both dabi and mastery deku can deal with multiple people all at once for example is quintuple smash that can grab numerous or maybe infinite amount of teamers, same goes to dabi's ember assault that drags the same number of people. majority of their skills also has s which is a godsent to every character if they do have one. hot take but i personally think dabi has the best pvp experience coz of all his skills can combo extend, even a 1 digit player can take advantage with this just spamming his skills and catching people off guard. mastery stain is nice and i definitely have my opinion changed from his first release to current patch coz of how much they did everything to make mastery stain a viable character to play better combo extend does NOT go to warp portal bro = in my 6 months of playing HBG and accumulated a total of 4.5k kills (my main got 2.5k, an alt got 1k, 2 alts got 700, and last alt has 400) all warp portal mains i've witnessed so far are using the same measly combo of skill 1 and 3 and LITERALLY wasting zero value of their matter manipulation and just throws the tiles everywhere like a toddler with his toy car or sum, plus dabi has better one shot KO capability than warp coz warp heavily relies on ping to execute his combos (150ms dabi main btw) and this is one out of many reasons why smoothiedude ranked warp portal lower than everyone else. in the end this is just my personal opinion but i kinda find it funny how i managed to come up with this analysis when i literally started picking up dabi a little late (started using him when i reached 2k kills) also a not so fun fact is a while ago, i asked my discord group (filled with 3k to 7k kills and above players) a question which is: "what character that's used by a pro would you rather fight". majority picked todoroki/warp portal/base deku with the highest rating, stain/stain v2/deku v2/bakugo got the medium rating, while DABI got the lowest rating. i guess majority of the pros has a grudge on dabi users.
Istg this is just a downgrade of Bakugo, one of the moves (infernal burn) looks like powered shot, but powered shot has a follow up. Also one of the ult moves (flame wave burst) is exactly one of explosion hero’s ult moves.
