It's crazy how a majority of people don't know that almost every single team in the pro scene is run by players. Also Yamato is the reason Targ Rell W'd behind his team and killed them TRUEEEEEE
They had massive success in their previous region, and all of a sudden they think they can win LEC. And when they aren't performing cause of players massive skill gap, suddenly it is the coach issue. RIP coach scapegoat.

They did good vs FNC and G2 and won vs BDS and SK. But you're telling me they are bad players ? Drafts sucked balls except the 2 last ones, Upset even implied it in a interview. Yamato took full blame coz he knew one of his draft sucked he said it himself in video. But yeah players issue.
@@TheSimSprod The drafts were not the issue you have to be baiting. You are giga coping if you think the drafts were bad, I only remember one draft that was ass the rest KC outdrafted or neutralised the enemy draft every game. Also, Yamato doesn’t talk to them in game, how is it his fault their individual performance is bad? That they make god awful decisions in game? Let me guess Yamato took the keyboard from Targamas and taped his mouth shut which is why he can’t hit a single skill shot and why he can’t communicate at all?
They win early game mods of the time or are even it's just because of drafts they can't do anything when midgame comes but if you don't get that. Continue to think Yamato is the best coach ever when he is not. I truly like Yamato as a person but the drafts were bad for a lot of reasons and he never performed as a coach maybe there is a correlation but yeah everyone got gapped lol when they are even or ahead after early game. If you can't see that just go to minute 15 of every game and you will see. So individually they are not bad it's macro related and picks related. It isn't by picking good champ that you make a good draft it depends on the opponent's draft and synergies between champs but I do agree targamas is muted and he shouldn't be. I would change him in the roster and get a better analyst for drafts over kicking Yamato in winter. But the truth is the drafts made no sense
If there is one positive from this KC fiasco is that Bo has finally shut up all the haters saying he was trash. Man came into a shit team, tried so fucking hard, carried comms speaking pretty good english, and looked like the best player on the team despite them being absolute garbage. Bo is legit. Anyone still hating on Bo is delusional. If this guy was on a good team, they would win LEC every time. Put him on G2, let's see what happens.
Not at all, you guys keep talking shit but you still don't understand anything about KC. It's okay, keep talking, who cares about silver 3 12IQ opinions anyways
This is the situation of "don't cry because it over, smile because it over". An org that fire a guy over short period performance is shortsight in character. And if they don't make bad decisions now, they will make it latter, who know what is that gonna screw up.
I look forward how KC will go far next split.. Right now I'm not sht talking anyone we'll see how the next coach fair with these boosted players with a winning draft but mark my words if they fall harder or goes even, I WILL tag every commentors on these clip that approved that Yamato was the problem.
How can they fall harder? They are at the bottom. All the next coach has to do is to go even or win a game when it counts. When he goes even they'll say "it's because the players are shit after all,..." when he wins one game (out of the first 5-6 games) they'll go with "it was Yamatos fault after all"
The ONLY thing I can imagine happening behind the scenes that somehow justifies this would be Yamato loosing it at Targa and Saken at some point because of their comms and them not listening to what Bo and Upset are saying. Maybe he even held his hand out like a teacher and demanded the gum from Saken 😂 this whole thing reminds me of TSM somehow.. A franchise player that isn't really performing well but somehow gaslights management into thinking the coach is the problem.. Sounds familiar 🤔 but to TSMs credit they never went full nationalist fanservice so I guess TSM > KC

Agree with dom @3:08, I think they won against BDS because they're probably around the same level at managing their lanes and Targamas wasnt running it down by baiting a huge fight or wasting their engage. Sucks. At the end of the day, these teams are ran as businesses and a lot of them have investors. Someone has to take the blame and everyone wants to keep their salaries. The nice guy loses in these situations and that was probably yamato.

After watching all of the KC games, I do not know how the first thought is to get rid of the coach instead of benching and swapping some players. Genuinely, and this may surprise some of you, I think Yamato must've wanted to keep the entire team. The only logical explanation is that they disagreed with Yamato's decision to not bench any players or to not get any new players, etc. On top of that, there's a good chance he wasn't being hard enough on them because they probably look like they need that. The decision is not justified either way, because keeping all of the players is unironically a fine decision despite how shit it's going, it's BO1 and the first split. I think no matter what Yamato couldn't have done literally anything (including the reason above) that would deserve for him to be let go. It's Yamato so I highly doubt this is a behavioral issue, they must take issue with the way he's coaching or some decision he's making. If the org benched Targamas and then outwardly said, "Yamato didn't want to bench him" everyone would squirm a little bit but at least we'd understand the reasoning. It could also be the other way around, where Yamato wanted to make a lot of changes and the Org didn't want to try that yet. Either way, if no roster changes come out of this it's a really bad look. It means that anything Yamato said (in regards to a roster change) was completely ignored despite his better judgement. Or, it means the Org makes roster changes that Yamato was clearly against--for instance we'd all lose our shit if they got rid of Bo based on what, reddit threads? I don't know this is crazy to me, I really wanna know what happened I feel really bad that he's out of the job just like that. I guess it's also possible that the team sucked so bad he asked for a pay-raise haha.

What the fuck are you talking about? Vitality were not good before Yamato. They were a 4th place team who HE took to worlds with Attila and Jiizuke. HE took them to worlds. Fnatic was a fucking trainwreck internally, he fixed a team that in 2021 couldnt win an argument into a team that went to worlds, then 2022 the whole roster was swapped and despite MASSIVE interpersonal issues, still managed to get them to worlds and to actually win games against Korean teams. He also took a rookie splyce team to worlds and had a massive impact on the success of players like Wunder - Which even Wunder has said. The only team you could say were a failure was fnatic and even then it depends on how you actually look at it. A team that is good on paper but had massive internal issues due to management, etc that he was able to get to worlds...

How can you say that Saken looks like a bottom tier laner when bro only went even or ahead in 7 losing games ? Cabo is not a good Gragas/Rumble/Jax player, has never been and he lost those lanes hard, but the others went fine. Targamas underperformed like crazy, that I can admit, but you can't tell me he isn't LEC worthy when he won it (and with another rookie botlane, and they won a lot of lanes together). I think that as usual people are criticizing who they like hating, and they don't know the situation. From what I can see from there, Kameto and KCorp want to have results ASAP because it's a huge investment and it was a shitshow this split. The ingredients are good so blame the cook I guess ? I like Yamato's personality but I'm not sure he is good at anything but creating team atmosphere as far as major region coaches go and that makes me think KCorp thought his salary is wasted ? Anyways that LEC team is Kameto's dream, and I think the pressure was a bit tough on everyone and they had to change something. As I have more than half a brain -unlike some here- I will restrain from judging without context until I can see if the improvement is here or not. In the meantime stop flaming everyone or comparing KC to Astralis, because at least they are TRYING to win and taking risks. Also, remember without them we would have no Adam and no Striker, that they won 4 EUMs, being the only one to win more than 1 and dominating the lower rank of europe. I would rather flame the abusive teams that don't pay players or abuse them rather than KCorp.
Bro what fucking losing lanes are you looking at? Also its the best champion he actually has in Azir and he couldn't land a single ult... Yes he played like ass. Most of the matchups he was playing in were either winning or at least even matchups, that he decided to run down in the mid game. Jax and Rumble were 2 of Cabo's most played champions last year and some of his best (60% winrate and 67% winrate respectively) - A champion he has played 20 times in his career, that is meta should not be that bad, but apparently he couldn't play anything to a high level unless the enemy team inted draft. So why would you not try to stick him on something weakside and try to get other lanes ahead. Winning LEC - Doesnt mean you are LEC level. Targamas was literally playing on a team with Caps and Jankos - One of the most successful duos in the LEC and he was playing with Flakked who seems to be the Support Whisperer. Saying "Oh well he won therefore he must be LEC level" when he was playing like Ass on XL and he has played like Ass this split, doesn't make sense. He won on G2... because its G2, he then left G2 and completely receded into obscurity. People are criticizing the people who DESERVE the criticism. "The ingredients are good" - Yeah because Saken, Targamas and Cabochard have totally shown they are good in the LEC xD. Cant be that they were playing like ass and maybe arent as good as KC fans think they are. "Yamatos not good at anything except team atmosphere" - Shows you know nothing about Yamato and dont listen to anything he says and instead go "Lol he wears a suit and has a nice voice". "I have more than half a brain" - Proceeds to act like none of the players played badly and all of the problems stem from coaching and drafting. "I will refrain from judging without context" - Proceeds to say Yamato is a moron, knows nothing about the game and is too blame for all of the teams problems. KC are Astralis, they are not trying to win nor are they taking risks - They have signed stupid guarantees and agreements with players that are not good enough to compete in LEC and are now performing damage control by saying its everyone elses fault apart from those players who played like Ass. "I like Kcorp so hey don't flame them for their poor treatment and bad decisions, flame other orgs please".

It' literally impossible to get invested in teams any more when they change every few weeks. They give teams and coaches zero time to develop together and wonder why they suck and nobody likes them.
Yamato simply couldn't steer this shipwreck. For whatever reason people backed Crusher's firing which happened under the same circumstances but when it comes to Yamato we say give him another split? This is a results based industry -- not reaching even top eight is terrible. Throughout the years I have yet to see Yamato's value as a coach, throughout his time in Fnatic and otherwise.
I really like Yamato and i agree that its fucked to release him after this short period of time but imo hes always been a fraud as a coach. His teams legit never had good results.
The only error you can really point out from yamato is trying out many different strategies instead of working on one, except its completely understandable while you're learning the meta and your teams identity. In football, Tom Brady said the best thing you can do to improve a team is stability, constantly having major shifts is how you stay at step 1 permanently - unless the issue is completely obvious, except the major mechanical issues come way before coaching.
I find it funny. Like, bro, I know Yamato is your friend and all, but to say it makes no sense is kinda delusional to me. Is it a good move, probably not. But he wouldn't be in this situation if the team looked even remotely on sinc during the season.
"All the work that Yamato did" what do you know exactly about what Yamato did? Nothing. As Kameto the owner of Kcorp said, there was a problem about the work that has been done and if Yamato is fired it is probably related to Yamato's work.
So wack, considering it was so obvious the players were not good enough to perform with the best in the league. They just want a scapegoat to appease the fans that they are doing 'something'

@@ThomasMueller999 I half agree. I thought the loyalty would come because KC is a team from people in the scene who understand how a long term project works and don't demand someones head for something as silly as 3 weeks and a 2-7 split
So often these decisions happen because higher ups on the business side push without understanding and I guess i was naive enough to think KC would be more rational
@@the_beemeryou're giving KC too much credit. Everything they say about loyalty is a lie since they're being backed with folks with money on the line
It's crazy how a majority of people don't know that almost every single team in the pro scene is run by players.
Also Yamato is the reason Targ Rell W'd behind his team and killed them TRUEEEEEE
If this is true, this is crazy. It's a horrible way to run a team in any sports.
They had massive success in their previous region, and all of a sudden they think they can win LEC. And when they aren't performing cause of players massive skill gap, suddenly it is the coach issue.
RIP coach scapegoat.
Love yamato but he never performed as a coach. How Bo and upset have massive skill gaps ? And Half of LEC players got beaten by Cabochard, Saken and Targamas before they join LEC.
@@TheSimSprodhalf of LEC players got beaten by them, so thats the reason why they got gapped every single game by their counterparts?
@@TheSimSprod
The drafts were not the issue you have to be baiting.
@@TheSimSprodno draft could carry whatever the hell that top and mid were doing lil guy, the draft can't win if the players are clowns

kinda glad they're keeping targa so the 0-9 dream can be achieved next split
Feels like they just used Yamato to help secure Bo and upset
They're likely getting replaced next year
If there is one positive from this KC fiasco is that Bo has finally shut up all the haters saying he was trash. Man came into a shit team, tried so fucking hard, carried comms speaking pretty good english, and looked like the best player on the team despite them being absolute garbage. Bo is legit.
Kameto said that he was about to talk to each players and staffs members individually and take his decisions
Looks like the players/staff didnt appreciate him
Large change that's just for optics.
Even if that's true, it's very easy to save your skin as a player or other supporting member of the team by scapegoating a coach
Agree with dom @3:08, I think they won against BDS because they're probably around the same level at managing their lanes and Targamas wasnt running it down by baiting a huge fight or wasting their engage.
Then again, the post is also by LEC Wooloo who is speculating and a notorious leaker who has been wrong but Thorin has also talked with Monte on LFN so i'm not sure anymore, maybe just good banter/ "content".
Let's fire the MVP of our team. Let's DIG OUR WAY OUT
hope they fire Bo so he can get a real team

Yes, he took 2 or 3 rookie rosters to worlds, but if he didn't do it even after having been stealing for 1 decade...

C9 Yamato !!!!
Yes, this is very disconcerting. I was ready to continue following the team after the rough start, but I've lost interest after they benched our boy.
Nothing. As Kameto the owner of Kcorp said, there was a problem about the work that has been done and if Yamato is fired it is probably related to Yamato's work.
lmfao no way
So wack, considering it was so obvious the players were not good enough to perform with the best in the league. They just want a scapegoat to appease the fans that they are doing 'something'

This is not results based, this is based on how those players actually play the game.
