Thank you that was great information as I hope one day have Cornish hen farm. They’re so cute I won’t want to eat them but I probably will sometimes . I used to breed fish . Now I want to breed Cornish hens Lord willing. Appreciate you 😊 excellent presentation.
@@eretabegardens I can only tell you from my experience. I'm sure there are chicken breeds that. are prolific layers that I don't have experience with but in my opinion Black Australorp,White Leghorn,ISA Brown,Buff Orpington and Amberlink worked out well for me. I've had many other breeds for different reasons but with careful consideration of characteristics of not going broody, cold hardy, high heat tolerance and being able to lay during the winter I was able to choose these as the ones high on my list, but still please do your research and regardless of your choice it will be your own experience....GOOD LUCK!
We've raised and harvested a lot of full size chicken and want to do some game hens, but I can't figure out how to gut/clean out such a small bird. Can you share how you do it?
@@FEFE-473 thanks for the replies and your honesty I think its going to be a little tough for me I never done anything like this in my life it's all new to me. Be blessed in the name of Jesus

@@FEFE-473 thank you, I'll be starting my journey soon with Cornish cross. How did you feel about processing them? Did you have any mixed emotions?
@He Heard My Cry I am not attached to them,I view it as my food and I'm grateful to be able to produce my own food
