One of my favorite courses here in Myrtle beach, The Witch (rumored to be closing for residential development in a year or two) was built, literally, in the middle of a swamp. I play in the fog regularly when I get the first tee time of the day. Fog a LOT thicker than what you played in, visibility MAYBE 100 yards. Just me, the course, and around 10,000 alligators. The key is... hit it STRAIGHT!!!
Great whiskey video!!!! Glad you got to add some golf to it. The fog and the music made me feel like I was in a scene from Braveheart, superb. As for the fog, our club pro always reminds us when we gripe about the weather, “golf is an outdoor sport”
Great video Andy. I’m a member at Crieff and I can say you really captured the essence of the course (once you could see it! 😂). It’s always really well turned out, the green keepers do a fantastic job and as you’ve seen the greens are quick and true even at this time of year - you should come back and play in the Summer and see them then! Thanks for showing the world our course, the videography was 1st class as ever. 👍
I’m really happy the fog lifted the course is beautiful, and being able to capture your game on video was very skillful. The enjoyment of playing golf, and being in some of it’s picturesque environments is why I continue to return to play in Arizona, Brazil, or any other USA state or country I’m privileged, and honored to be living in or visiting at the time.
Just found & started watching the series a few weeks ago Andy, cracking vlogs with terrific camera work indeed. I've already seen my local course at Moray where I've been a member since 1979. Now found you did one of my 'Home' course at Crieff looking pristine as always, only played it 4 times since leaving home for work in 77. Nice to see Derek Adams looking well 😉at 3 mins in.
That was a pristine course. Really enjoying this series of videos, thanks.
It really was Colin
Thanks for sharing this. Really good video. 🏌️♂️⛳
A few whiskys would probably straighten out my drives. Lovely scenery, great video Andy 👍🏻🥃
Great foggy vlog 🙈 Nice course. Will put this on my to go list for sure. Thank you for all your great content.
Well kept course, going to play it after watching this! Cheers.
Glad it encouraged you to do so
Looks in fantastic condition Andy ,you’ve got a great job pal
Best channel on RUclips. Top notch my friend.
Andy great video thank you
Played Crieff lovely course. Loving the series 👍🏌️♂️
Another great vlog Andy looks unbelievable 2021 can't come soon enough.
Just a beautiful course. It is difficult to say which course has been the best because they all are just stellar.
Love watching these in these dark winter evenings
I am enjoying looking back at them myself!
What a way to spend a day....golf and whiskey tasting! Doesn't get much better.👍
Hey Andy. I've got a ball marker from Crieff that one of my playing partners bought back from a trip. Closest I'll be getting to Scotland.
Played this course for the first time a few months and loved it. Great views and a well.kept course. It rained for about 3 or 4 days before we went and the course was mostly dry
The course looks stunning, great filming too!
lovely course
Not a bad vlog in this whole series Andy. The filming, music, edit are all top drawer, and your casual knocking in of 4-5 ft second putts is impressive too 😂😂😂
Thanks as ever Jay.....if I had the putt in a club medal round be a different story!
The fog reminded me of where I'm from, the east coast of Canada 🇨🇦. I just start watching your channel yesterday and it is absolutely amazing 👏. I first found your channel looking for a review and then seeing your visit to Scotland courses I'm hooked. Thanks and a thank you to your wife for doing these. 🍻
Glad you found us and really appreciate your kind feedback
A beautiful area of the world. The course looked to be quite challenging.
I was faced with a very similar morning when we were playing Dunkeld, not too far from Crieff ,we had to wait a few hours for the fog to lift !!
The views up that way are just incredible !!
Look forward to Pitlochry 👍
Worth the wait though!
Played Crieff about 33 years ago..... lovely course and great memories 😃
Time to return!
@@TheAverageGolfer you’re right. ⛳️😃
I'm going to get along there for a round (or two) Andy.
Well worth the wait for the fog to lift. .....those greens looked tricky tho
I certainly made them look tricky! They were pacy!
Looks a Hidden Gem
Literally with that fog
Lovely videos ,from up in scotland myself and its great that your doing videos of lesser know course at decent prices as i think golf it far to expensive in this current situation ,this is the time to get new golfers to take up golf and enjoy all aspects of the uk
Glad you are enjoying, some great courses have featured
@@TheAverageGolfer your welcome if your ever up in banffshire some great courses to enjoy too
What a wonderful video , the scenery is breathtaking.. I think fog and a wee dram does your golf the world of good 😉🥃.. what wedges are you using Andy ? Your short game looks excellent 😉🏌️♂️⛳️🍻
I’m playing it tomorrow ⛳️
Whiskey tasting instead sounds good.
Always a good option
Played there a few times - course on a hillside (my aunt lives just across the road)
Seems like a nice place to live
Are you gonna have Rick Shiels on again, so you can slag him off to his face??
