grid is 100 meters aqaures when u scroll out the scale changes but this vid is close up so 100 meters squares will give u good distance measurements as the battle rages.

Details: German companies are all under strength with correct number of platoons but each is reduced or simply less platoons per company. that is across the entire German OOB.
Russian Companies are 123 men to 143 men each, note smaller units in NATO counter dress as support fire platoons, assault platoons, anti tank teams, and weapons section of platoons or companies. These counters will be smaller visually and note range circles these denote mortar or heavy machine gun systems in the unit.
Air support and arty support can be id'd by shell animation and sounds. Arty units are battery sized and on the map air units are results occur but u see no air units crossing the skies in game.

Note russian units are ai controlled and are orientated toward a soviet doctrine. As the German player units arrive in piece meal as you see.
The river, the rivers here are not fordable unless at bridges or ferrys/ streams can be crossed however the penalty is huge for the unit as the banks are muddy and steep the current is fast water depth is 4 meters to 6 meters.
It is possible for engineers to facilitate stream crossings however under fire or disorganized means it will take a lot of time.
Orders of my controlled units are noted during the game at top of screen responding to completion or lack or completion of task.
the game is 5 plus hours this section is running 60x times faster otherwise we would be here awhile.
