One of my favorite blues songs poignant in wishing for times passed

I love this uniquely interesting song: Alfred Hitchcock's 1943 film noir Shadow Of A Doubt ends with the line " the World just seems to go crazy every now and then, like Uncle Charlie." That is a reference to the main character, and I think the title and lyrics of this song might well have been inspired by the story.
Anyway It's nice to think of the early Climax Chicago sitting around watching an old Hitchcock movie and then writing a great progressive blues song about it. Magical.

My favourite track of theirs. It was on the Canadian debut album on Sire Records, too.

I bought the album for just this song. Love Colin's soulful rifts.

Utter and sheer geniousness. Such innovative work for their time beyond many others. To mention just a few things, 1) the blues track in the beginning is old school and a phenomenal rhythm and style, 2) the song then takes a darkly sweet turn to a moody bluesy/ protocol harumy/ byrdsy kind of song style. Phenomenal brilliancy by CCBB, but nothing short of expected.

Loved this song years ago and still enjoy it. One of their best imo.

...don't have that in the tracklist of their debut LP.
It's a Bonus Track of the remaster release (I have this in front of my eyes) of their "Plays On" LP.
I 've got them both in vinyl records.
(Doesn't matter really, it's a masterpiece anyway, thanks for the uploading ;) )

Why do so many guitar outros fade out so early when I want them to keep going and going? This one, We Used to Know, Persephone, Comfortably Numb, Wurm just to name a few.
