You can use the e on the inside row or the e on the outside row, it depends whether you are aiming for a smoother sound or not. The same goes for b's. I use either, depending on where in the tune they are and what sound I want to achieve. Enjoy your playing. 🙂👍

When you press button four on the b row is that e? and if so, why not use the e on the c row?
