- The Daffodils flower (narcissus or Jonquils) is the birth flower for those born in March and the 10th wedding anniversary flower, it's a flower that a lot of people are familiar with, this is a flower that people really like and one that is pretty. This flower also has some meanings that it is always associated with and it looks great. There is actually a story from ancient Greece where a man by the name of Narcissus looked at himself constantly and was basically obsessed with himself. One day, he was viewing himself in a pool of water, and he actually fell in it and drowned. The story is told that form the grave, a flower grew and it was called the Narcissus, today, it is better known as the Daffodil. This flower stands for beauty and it is given to people that you are in love with and adore and they are the only one for you.
The Daffodils does come with a few negative symbols due to the association with narcissism. Aside from signaling a person is a little too self-obsessed, this flower is ideal for reminding someone that there is always a chance for things to improve in the future. The Narcissus means rebirth and renewal because it’s one of the earliest bulbs to sprout. If you know someone that is the first to arrive at every event, you can celebrate their punctuality with this flower. The Victorians considered it an egoist’s flower, while the Chinese use it to symbolize future prosperity and wealth.

- Crepe paper made in Italy 60gsm.
- Dark green floral tape.
- Scissors, white glue, floral wire.
- Alcohol pens, alcohol 90 degree.

What is the brown material you use on the stem as the old flower cover? Big brown bundle not listed in materials please!!!????
thanks for your compliments, I'm sorry for the omission, I use fine brown paper rope for them, but for a small piece, I think googled brown paper twine, brown flower ties ... works, I even used mcdonald's hamburger wrapper when out of paper !

I bought myself some high quality crepe paper (and pistils) and will try to make similar daffodils (both yellow and white ones so the bouquet don´t get to monotonous) . Very good tutorial, I like the attention to detail/that everything is realistic, thank you :) I hope you can use water colour (I have got some highly pigmented artistic ones) instead of alcohol pen.
The transparent reinforcement of the stem seems like I good idea, I wonder where I can find something like that?
Thank you for your compliment, I'm looking forward to see your flowers, you can mix alcohol 90 with watercolor and use as in the video, alcohol will help the color is quickly absorbed, dry and do not do expansion of paper in this case, if you can find, you can use clear tube, type of transport water in the aquarium fish(0.5cm diameter), or you can use straw tube for replacement
