Mozart said the only thing more beautiful than a guitar is two guitars. What an inspirational performance. I love what you said there about it being up to you to play what you want to hear. Play what you want to hear, and practice it until it sounds like you want to hear it, in my case. Thanks for the lesson and motivation!
I don't know that I've heard such perfect intonation on an acoustic before, though I have a sneaking suspicion it's in yer fingers! Great guitar playing
I really agree with this. Whenever I hear someone say, “Here is a chord which could go here,” I think, “Yes, but which chord (or note ) will make you want to listen to a song a hundred times?”
@@chrisbrennanguitar Doing fine, thanks, Chris! Your approach absolutely shows! There’s no reason it should pour out of the instrument in one pass, though apparently some famous tunes were written like that. I think it was the Springsteen documentary which showed his writing process. He agonized over every measure. That told me a lot.
@@chrisbrennanguitar Someone else who felt this this way: Tony, the man who first brought us to your channel. Never heard him talk about it, but it was obvious. Not necessarily in his improvised solos, but in his featured ones that he tended to repeat, every note had a purpose.
Classic tune

Good stuff boss. I love what changing one note in a progression does to the sound. Totally different. So many options if we will just look.
