My only complaint is that sad how other models don't get the same treatment as her because they're not rich or they don't have connections.

Check the Alexander wang show, Kaia walked like a supermodel, like a young Gisele Bundchen, Bella walked so weak and forced, her walk reminded me of the undead nurses at Silent Hill tbh

Why do they always show models eating a ton of junk food? Is that supposed to make them relatable or make the world think that these women can eat anything and remain slim? Genuinely curious. I don't think it's a healthy image for young women to see imo

I completely believe in having a balanced diet, but I think it’s important to be genuine in these videos & depict an accurate day of eating as we all have different needs for our bodies. 😊 No hate to anyone or shame for what you eat, don’t eat, look like, or anything.

i've been in the modelling world and I'm about 99.9% sure that it's all fake. Maybe for the top end models like Kaia its easier to 'take a break' but for lots of models the throw it up right away, eat tiny amounts of food, use laxatives etc. because the pressure to be thin is overwhelming + most models although naturally skinny are nowhere near as naturally skinny as they appear on the runway. It's a sad industry.

hmmm, I like Kaia, but calling her a supermodel when she's only just started runway isn't quite right. When her mother was her age she started modelling and it probably took her a long time and lots of hard work to be called a supermodel when, in my opinion, Cindy was more supermodel material than Kaia at her age. These days Vogue just uses that term so much that Supermodel hardly has any meaning or importance now, like STOP IT, PLEASE

Great video and really sweet editing, Vogue. Just one question: why are we always seeing this idyllic image of models dressed to the nines in their hotel rooms eating room service hamburgers? You did it with Kylie, you did it with Gigi, it's been seen in so many campaigns and is all over Instagram. Wish there was a bit more, something more personal, less of the constructed ideal we've become so used to. Either way, always a treat to see your content.

This makes me feel incredibly trepidatious/uncomfortable-I'm actually scared for her; being thrust into this world at the tender age of "just turned 16"--behaving like she's 20-something. I just don't think mere teenagers can mentally handle this (although they will seemingly look just fine from the outside) this is A LOT to handle. She will have tons of money, fame (and the pressure of being Cindy's daughter is already MAJOR). It's another Kylie Jenner situation. These kids don't even have any semblance of who they are. I feel incredibly sorry for kids growing up in this generation; w/social media & incredible pressure--everything they think is so important is incredibly meaningless. What a mess--I believe our world is fucked.

I always believed that the term "supermodel" refered To the height. Kaia is as tall as Miranda Kerr or her mother so if the word means that I believe she is a supermodel. I think a model don't do runway shows. A model is less than 5ft 9in. Sara Sampaio and Emily Ratajkowski are not supermodels

This video shows nothing about what it's like for a model going from job to job during fashion week or what a day in the life of a fashion model is. Models do not stay in 5 star hotels or get driven around in BMWs while wearing trendy designer clothes that are worth more than mist models make in a year.
Models have to work very hard to market themselves during fashion week to appear in the shows, only to HOPE for a contract from a fashion company to make money. Sometimes they don't make any money for the shows they do, and they usually just break even on their travel and living expenses during the shows.
Pretty disappointing for showing the in and outs of how you are successful in the modeling business. This just seems like another layer of celebrity chasing.
that's probably because Kaia doesn't have to worry about that stuff. nepotism and wealth at its best. Cindy has probably been the one who experienced the true model life though.

of course she's beautiful, but the nepotism is extremely annoying and disconcerting. i'm sure everyone would love to see a model who came from a modest, middle class family. it would surely be a breathe of fresh air when all you see now are models from immensely wealthy families. i want to see a model who actually did all the work, rather than taking advantage and riding the coat tails of their mother's careers. not everyone is born with a silver spoon in their mouth and i'm 100% positive there are girls out there who are even more beautiful without it. there's something precious that is surely lost when one comes from a wealthy family who knows exactly who to pay, what to do and who to talk to in order to afford a modeling career for their daughters. i'm sure i'm not the only one who is sick and tired of seeing another model whose mommy and daddy bought them a nose job and lip injections. i want a real, naturally striking model - not someone who as a literal child got plastic surgery from the finest surgeons daddies money could buy. these nepotism models are shoved down our throats. could the fashion world be just a little more open to a model who came from little means rather than millionaire families?

She has so much potential and
seems so good at what she's doing. But a buzz at this point in her career is so much better than a title. I've noticed people naming someone a SUPERMODEL quickly without them earning it. When you earn that i think longevity is more likely to happen. A buzz around a model these days is so underrated, it makes people more intrigued instead of making models look entitled.
