The first goal made me mad. The goalkeeper was obviously going for it and it could have been avoided. The defense needs to learn when to kick it and when to protect it
The first goal was very unfortunate and yes at first glance it looks like the defenders fault but the goal keeper didn’t call it and I know as a goal keeper if you don’t call it you’re not getting the ball so that’s a mistake by the keeper
Ok, I’m not a goalkeeper but I’m defense. If I see the ball laying around and not in the goalkeepers hand and she didn’t call it then I will kick it out. Plus, I heard somebody say ‘kick it out.’ But it is both of their fault. Communication is key though. People are saying, don’t kick it out of the keepers hand but she didn’t have it she was lunging but I didn’t hear the keeper talk.
Haylie Tyler i am in defense too and when the goalie doesn’t scream for me to leave it i will kick it out and other people were saying to clear it so i would of done the same thing it just took an unlucky deflection
Ok the first goal bothers me (I’m a goal keeper myself) please NEVER kicks the ball away from your goalies hands. THERE ARE SOOO MANY REASONS NOT TO. If anything slowly put the ball closer to the goalie. DO NOT ever kick it away.
Riley Prather As a fellow goalkeeper I cannot stress how much this bothers me! If I can get to the ball, please don’t kick it away from me! If the defense didn’t do that, the goalie would’ve had the ball.
