I think dark academic is one of my favourites in theory but when you consider that our islands go through the seasons and rain I need to suspend disbelief that books are just sitting outside year-round. Edit; I think that’s where the city/paved themes really shine because you can imagine the snow gets cleared from the streets and still get to watch the snowfall.
I might be biased, but like, islands based off of some kind of media are AMAZING My last island was based on TOH, and all my next islands I've planned are also inspired by mediaI just lvoe seeing someone's take on something, and noticing all the little easter eggs and stuff will also do this tier list myself instead of studying, thank you very much
I absolutely love forestcore too but for me it was definitely a mistake trying to make that my first island and how I should make the layout/landscape became too big of a challenge and i got stuck 😐 - instead I restarted and now I’am trying to make a “Tropical Beach town” which I think is good mix cuz can have some organized neighborhoods but still make me feel like on vacation in like Hawaii 😄💖🌺
Loved the video!! I don't know if it counts as a theme but my favorite island tours to watch are "simple/minimal" islands. There are some gorgeous islands out there with minimal but very well done decor
I had an unfortunate habit of trying to use as many diverse sets of objects as I can and my island ends up being a mess so shoutout to anyone who’s good at using custom patterns and making coherent aesthetics without copying other people.
You think valentines theme is popular?? I’ve never seen one and I’m actually JUST starting a cupidcore/valentine pink and red island!! I’m having trouble finding codes!!

I recently downloaded pocket camp and I honestly would like to make my campsite look like a desert Oasis since I'm an egyptology anything girly and I'm wondering where you would place that I can't say it's tropic ore albeit it is a desert I just feel like it's one of the rare types of themes you don't see an animal crossing but I'm hoping to make it a reality. 😊

I’m planning on trying to Frankenstein castlecore + enchanted forest core together (idk all the official -core names sorry). There’s so many fun items I like so I don’t think I can commit to one theme for 100% of my island lol

I love cottage core. I've restarted my island twice to do a new theme and I always end up redoing a cottage core island.

I would also add suburban core! I think it’s quite a common theme, but I don’t think it would really fit with “city core”.
