I always shocks me as a American truck driver how well maintained the roads in Europe are compared to the usa very few cracks no potholes and no bumps that shake the vehicle to pieces lol
As Czech I am impatiently waiting for the D11, unfortunately the construction of one of the sections has been delayed due to the blocking of the construction by one person living in Prague who has a cottage near the future highway and drives it on vacation. But this week his lawsuits were dismissed and construction moved forward, so hopefully there won't be any more problems. The cross-border section Lubawka - Královec should open as early as 2025.
What a nice and empty motorway! I am curious to know what kind of car do you drive to record these videos. I have been watching them for many years and I am always impressed with the quality and I love seeing different parts of Europe based on your perspective. Keep up the great work!
I haven't seen such a busy road in a while literally bumper to bumper. Poland in a nutshell - hundreds of kilometers of noise barriers in the middle of nowhere, in most of the cases it's isn't a problem due to boring landscape but in this case those barriers are nonsense. At the other hand it's another sky-high expensive motorway in the hilly/mountainous area while several polish cities are dying in traffic and desperately hoping to get the bypasses for 30 years now.
It's because that's what the EU approves, i think; big projects to connect the continent whilst ignoring local things left for local governments like bypasses around non-capital cities and other bording things. In any case, this road was literally only opened 3 days before the recording, is still a little incomplete, and is waiting for the map people to begin adding the road to their maps so they can direct people on the quicker road.

Poland is a country that has been building expressways anew since the 1990s, like other countries of the Eastern Bloc
It could be future's most direct route for Czechs (Bohemian part) to The Baltic (D11, S3). Only one turn at Szczecin after exiting Prague :D

If wood is impregnated properly, it can stay in a good condition for decades.

Gdzie te ekrany. Oglądam już 3 raz ten przejazd i nie widzę ekranów. Jedyne które są to na wiaduktach - ale to spełnia rolę przeciwwiatrową.
