They could have literally ended the show at any time they want and say "it's the end of the show" and u would think it was a proper ending?
As silly as it sounds, that's the saddest part- the other characters just crack some jokes, but Bobobo pretty much acknowledges to the audience that it's been a wild ride, but this is the end.
While it's unfortunate that the anime only had 78 episodes, this actually was one of the few series from Toonami's saturday night run to actually finish it's run. Not even Naruto finished there, so MASSIVE props.
Naruto was airing on adult swim toonami and they stopped airing the series after they had just gotten to the episode where jiraiya made his debut, however for some reason they decided to also re air Naruto again from the beginning and stopped at some point in chunin exams idk though

It was a MASSIVE miracle that this show ended it's english dub run, really. Toonami, throughout 2007, treated every other show poorly that were not named Naruto (and to a lesser extent, One Piece), and when the last remaining episodes aired, I was worried that it'd get cut-off, too, but LUCKILY, from what I heard, the Toonami staff were heavily behind this show, and I guess CN knew enough that at the very least, they'd let Toonami finish it. And whaddaya know, this aired on the same night Toonami got shortened to 2 hours, which...seems like symbolism in some way. You all were hyping and watching Naruto when it premiered in 2005...but THIS was the show that I saw and payed attention to in a weekly basis when it premiered shortly after that. And boy, what a ride it was.
in 2006, I stopped watching TV almost entirely. Most of it was crap, and I discovered I could watch anime online. But you know what anime was not subbed and put online? Bobobo-bobo-bobo. So for 1 more year, I would turn my TV on every Saturday night just to watch the next episode of Bobobo.

I just love how this show pokes fun at anything and everything Anime, including the concept that an ending is oftentimes never left to satisfy the end of a series.
Everyone laughing at the end sounds so beautiful. Even at the end of it all they still had love in their hearts for their job. Best ending I've seen in years.
I remember watching this scene and I felt quite conflicted on whether I should like it or hate it. On one hand, ignoring that some of Bobobo's friends like Rice were still trapped in this attack from earlier and needed rescuing, the show cuts off at such a horrible part. There were so many great moments in the story that were yet to be shown such as meeting some of Bobobo's family/other users of Super Fist hair styles, Softon being confirmed as Beauty's older brother, and even Beauty having an awesome fight scene and being able to protect herself. So many great scenes that unfortunately never made it to the anime, especially beating Baldy Bald the 4th. But on the other, while abruptly ending the show like this fits the style of Bobobo, it felt like the best course of action. Comparing the last episodes to the first twenty or so, the animation was starting to take a massive flop and the quality of that and the writing were getting worse; the structure of building up jokes and the natural direction of the plot were being way too rushed and weren't as clever/funny as the beginning of the show. So, regardless of my mixed feelings about it, Bobobo-Bo Bo-BoBo is always gonna be one of my top five animes/mangas. This is what I watched on Cartoon Network whenever TMNT, Naruto, Ed, Edd 'n Eddy, and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends weren't on.
Here is an important tip to all BoBoBo fans: If you have any episode taped and you want to keep remembering BoBoBo, DON'T ERASE ANY OF THE EPISODES YOU HAVE RIGHT NOW!!!! Do this and you will never forget BoBoBo and his insane team.

Coming here as the manga translation finally is completed on Mangadex. Growing up with this show, coming back to the manga as an adult, this installment may be over but the fight for the sake of all hairkind continues.

I guess that's one way to establish the next set of volumes as a spinoff.
The cruelest thing is that Bobobo's manga suffered something similar. The sequel did not like the fans, and the creator was forced to give it a quick closure.

I wanted to see the Shadow Chrome Dome arc part2 (179-195) episode: 77-???, the Hair Kingdom arc (196-230) and the real final episode True Theory (Shinsetsu) 73 Sayonara Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo in the anime. Characters like: the 3 last bo-bobo fusion characters, Bububu-bu Bu-bubu Bo-bobo's older sister, Bibibi-bi Bi-bibi, Bababa-ba Ba-baba, Vita,Min, Shigeki X, Goisu, Wandering Tofu, Icen (Yuko), Bird of Paradice, the rest of the 9 hair guards, BackWindman (Onaraman) and Yuki a older black-haired version of Beauty to apper in the anime dub. P.S. Don't remake the series, Czar Baldy-Bald the 3rd will not apper in the anime version of the Hair Kingdom arc and Most of All Bo-bobo will use his final attack: Ultimate Fist of the Nosehair with unleashed 4 nosehairs at once instead of 2 nosehairs to defeat Bi-bibi. I'm a big Bo-bob anime fan and I love the show because it's the only anime that don't have blood spill.
I would like for them to continune where it left off in the anime and Bo-bobo's new fist skill: Ultimate Fist of the Nose Hair as Revived Bo-bobo to defeat Bi-bibi.
I'm gonna be honest I really wished they wrapped up the story in some way, like if they knew they were going to get cancelled they probably should've done a big final battle with different elements from the Manga chapters that happened after this point, like all the those Villains showing off their superfists in one last big brawl [with it having BoBoBo summoning his fusions (including HalleaBoJiggler, the fusion of Halleaculani, Bobobo, & Jelly Jiggler who appeared in the manga during that arc and Adult Woman, who's like a different form of fusion for BoboPatch) only for Hydrate to come in his Pajamas with BeBeBe, who after some fighting with his feet, it turns out Hydrate is actually BiBiBi from the Manga, who he BeBeBe set up this tournament to try to rule all of the Hair Kingdom with an iron fist, and he ends up using BeBeBe's LegHair Hypnotism to hypnotize everyone except Bobobo & Beauty, but then BuBuBu shows up to help, who looks exactly like Denbo (so there's just two Denbos now) and after explaining they were training together in the hair arts as children and BuBuBu gets destroyed just like that Bobobo uses the Sessalg technique he goes crazy when wears his sunglasses backwards, and just as it shown that Bebebe is destroyed, BiBiBi manages to take Bobobo down, but just when everything seems bleak, Beauty decides to try one last tactic, which is, and I'm not even kidding, Praying to Jesus Christ to summon a bunch of Christian Cartoon Characters for kids who tell them that she did a great job, but it turns out it was a distraction for Bibibi to be so dumbfounded on how "Jumping the Shark" this is, so Beauty can grab Bobobo's glasses, put them on and do big sucker punch to Bibibi knocking him out (cause Bobobo's glasses contains most of his power), and that brings everyone back to normal, Bobobo gets back up and the gang reunite, and when asked about why did you go with something Christian, Beauty says that she knew the best way to distract him was to Wigg Out, so she thought of every tv show's writer's nightmare for a source... the holy bible, and after laughing a bit, the rest of the cast just looks a little awkward and worried saying that that's not Wiggin Out that's just plain cynical, and everyone just kinds of citizens Beauty as it zooms out, and it cuts to a where are they now segment ending with Bobobo taking Beauty back to the town the two met in to go back to her home (which is an orphanage), and when Bobobo asks "If you thought I was stupid and annoying half the time, why did you stay with me", and Beauty ends up saying "Because that's the reason I left here, because it was getting a little boring seeing the same thing everyday" and as bobobo rides off on his harvey motorcycle as a kid asks who was that guy , Beauty says "That was a true blue Nose Hair Lover" the credits with Bobobo driving in the desert with his brothers and sister, it cuts to the studio where we actually see the Narrator in person for the first time getting his things together, when he's approached by Don Patch, who after just staring at him a bit, drags the tied up narrator on the ground while Don Patch is flying in the air with Hatenko crying the joy about how great his boss is, and it ending with Jelly Jiggler being dragged also while nonchalantly drinking tea saying "Don't worry buddy, you'll get used to it", them riding off into the sunset, and then as a cirlce isis starts to close, Dengakuman comes out of the hole and says to the viewers "Sorry we had to end this way..." and then him angry saying "but you know damn censors won't give a break, you know what I mean you idiots" and then he's back to being happy saying "Anyway, see you soon" and he plants a carboard sign that says "Thanks for supporting us END" in Japanese walks away, and the whole thing ends with the sign falling face first into the ground as it cuts to black, do you think that would've been good?
This was my first actual anime, and as such holds a very special place in my heart. And by ‘actual anime’ I mean it was the first one I watched while knowing what anime was. I mean, before that, I saw stuff like Yu Gi Oh and Digimon, and the like, but at the time I just thought they were regular animated shows.
You know Shouen Jump, maybe in 2011 or something, you should make a season 3 of this show, because it's not finished yet, GOT IT?????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Actually It was cancelled since this is where the show ended while the manga still continued past this. what sucks evenmore is the rest of the Bobobo DVD boxsets wont be produced since the company in charge of creating the DVD's containing the episodes lost that part of the company.
This was my first anime I ever watched, I really enjoyed it and was sad that they would ended it like that. I rewatch it on a website where you can watch them for free. Still can’t believe they end it like that, really miss this anime.

@Shaman Xeed naruto would return on adult swim uncut but it was later cancelled replaced by shippuden which was cancelled by disney xd

Characters like: the 3 last bo-bobo fusion characters, Bububu-bu Bu-bubu Bo-bobo's older sister, Bibibi-bi Bi-bibi, Bababa-ba Ba-baba, Vita,Min, Shigeki X, Goisu, Wandering Tofu, Icen (Yuko), Bird of Paradice, the rest of the 9 hair guards, BackWindman (Onaraman) and Yuki a older black-haired version of Beauty to apper in the anime dub. P.S. Don't remake the series, Czar Baldy-Bald the 3rd will not apper in the anime version of the Hair Kingdom arc and Most of All Bo-bobo will use his final attack: Ultimate Fist of the Nosehair with unleashed 4 nosehairs at once instead of 2 nosehairs to defeat Bi-bibi. I'm a big Bo-bob anime fan and I love the show because it's the only anime that don't have blood spill.
I would like for them to continune where it left off in the anime and Bo-bobo's new fist skill: Ultimate Fist of the Nose Hair as Revived Bo-bobo to defeat Bi-bibi.

I'm gonna be honest I really wished they wrapped up the story in some way, like if they knew they were going to get cancelled they probably should've done a big final battle with different elements from the Manga chapters that happened after this point, like all the those Villains showing off their superfists in one last big brawl [with it having BoBoBo summoning his fusions (including HalleaBoJiggler, the fusion of Halleaculani, Bobobo, & Jelly Jiggler who appeared in the manga during that arc and Adult Woman, who's like a different form of fusion for BoboPatch) only for Hydrate to come in his Pajamas with BeBeBe, who after some fighting with his feet, it turns out Hydrate is actually BiBiBi from the Manga, who he BeBeBe set up this tournament to try to rule all of the Hair Kingdom with an iron fist, and he ends up using BeBeBe's LegHair Hypnotism to hypnotize everyone except Bobobo & Beauty, but then BuBuBu shows up to help, who looks exactly like Denbo (so there's just two Denbos now) and after explaining they were training together in the hair arts as children and BuBuBu gets destroyed just like that Bobobo uses the Sessalg technique he goes crazy when wears his sunglasses backwards, and just as it shown that Bebebe is destroyed, BiBiBi manages to take Bobobo down, but just when everything seems bleak, Beauty decides to try one last tactic, which is, and I'm not even kidding, Praying to Jesus Christ to summon a bunch of Christian Cartoon Characters for kids who tell them that she did a great job, but it turns out it was a distraction for Bibibi to be so dumbfounded on how "Jumping the Shark" this is, so Beauty can grab Bobobo's glasses, put them on and do big sucker punch to Bibibi knocking him out (cause Bobobo's glasses contains most of his power), and that brings everyone back to normal, Bobobo gets back up and the gang reunite, and when asked about why did you go with something Christian, Beauty says that she knew the best way to distract him was to Wigg Out, so she thought of every tv show's writer's nightmare for a source... the holy bible, and after laughing a bit, the rest of the cast just looks a little awkward and worried saying that that's not Wiggin Out that's just plain cynical, and everyone just kinds of citizens Beauty as it zooms out, and it cuts to a where are they now segment ending with Bobobo taking Beauty back to the town the two met in to go back to her home (which is an orphanage), and when Bobobo asks "If you thought I was stupid and annoying half the time, why did you stay with me", and Beauty ends up saying "Because that's the reason I left here, because it was getting a little boring seeing the same thing everyday" and as bobobo rides off on his harvey motorcycle as a kid asks who was that guy , Beauty says "That was a true blue Nose Hair Lover" the credits with Bobobo driving in the desert with his brothers and sister, it cuts to the studio where we actually see the Narrator in person for the first time getting his things together, when he's approached by Don Patch, who after just staring at him a bit, drags the tied up narrator on the ground while Don Patch is flying in the air with Hatenko crying the joy about how great his boss is, and it ending with Jelly Jiggler being dragged also while nonchalantly drinking tea saying "Don't worry buddy, you'll get used to it", them riding off into the sunset, and then as a cirlce isis starts to close, Dengakuman comes out of the hole and says to the viewers "Sorry we had to end this way..." and then him angry saying "but you know damn censors won't give a break, you know what I mean you idiots" and then he's back to being happy saying "Anyway, see you soon" and he plants a carboard sign that says "Thanks for supporting us END" in Japanese walks away, and the whole thing ends with the sign falling face first into the ground as it cuts to black, do you think that would've been good?

This was my first actual anime, and as such holds a very special place in my heart. And by ‘actual anime’ I mean it was the first one I watched while knowing what anime was. I mean, before that, I saw stuff like Yu Gi Oh and Digimon, and the like, but at the time I just thought they were regular animated shows.
I just realized that the same voice actor for Hercule (dbz) voiced bobobo.
You know Shouen Jump, maybe in 2011 or something, you should make a season 3 of this show, because it's not finished yet, GOT IT?????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually It was cancelled since this is where the show ended while the manga still continued past this. what sucks evenmore is the rest of the Bobobo DVD boxsets wont be produced since the company in charge of creating the DVD's containing the episodes lost that part of the company.

This was my first anime I ever watched, I really enjoyed it and was sad that they would ended it like that. I rewatch it on a website where you can watch them for free. Still can’t believe they end it like that, really miss this anime.

The manga is insanely mature..... >.> The show is about 1/3 as violent and vulgar as the manga..... In the Japanese version of the manga, all the characters, especially Poppa Rocks (Don Patch) curse pretty much every other sentence..... But this seriously sucks..... Bobobo is insane..... I wanna see some Japanese Subs for it.....
