Tip>>>>I have my modem and router connected to a power strip. Before bed, I power them off. I don't want the wifi at night especially in the bedroom while I sleep. In the morning just power back up. It does not affect my computer or Google home, etc reset at all.
I have not been able to sleep without medication since open heart surgery 18 months ago ... even with them I manage only a few hours ... I didn’t have high cholesterol, I had a healthy diet, was very active and perfect weight before my surgery ... i was just unlucky ... I was wondering if Sleep Breakthrough would be suitable for me to take ... I am desperate to stop sleeping meds ... I would really appreciate your advice ...thank you.
I am 78 & am rethinking visiting my GYN. Thinking I might need to take some sort of nano estradiol/progestrone to ease my suffering. Don’t like taking benzodiazepines but nothing else helps (yoga, steam, red light, exercise, meditation etc)
My friends and I have same sleep interruptions. Fall asleep for few hours, then wake up. Sometimes can fall back to sleep , sometimes not. Frustrating.
Wake-up insomnia can often be helped with adding or adding more magnesium (most of us are deficient and stress makes that worse, by 'spending ' or burning through it faster). If it's accompanied by a racing heart or heart arrhythmias, then it might also be a histamine issue.

We know that Ghrelin is the hunger hormone, but isn't Leptin the opposite satiety hormone that tells you you're not hungry?

At the age of 70 I don't sleep for more than 2 hours at night.
Same here 70. I am clocking in about 5 hours, usually broken up (at least) into 2 parts. I am up by 3AM, just like Adam says.
