2 videos ago Matty crashed and you could here the fear in Scott's voice for his brother. This video he says go fast gotta go faster... I wish I had a brother 😂❤
Totally need a V2 of this video!!! Cut about a foot off of the height and re-shape the radius so it's a bit more of a jump vs a small quarter pipe... do the tape from round 2, then do some criss cross tape at 45 degree angles, and some that are at 90 degrees following the path of the bike tire... then a final layer side to side over all of that... I'd be you could make a super legit V2 attempt!
If theres anything I learned from Red Green growing up; you can basically do anything with duct tape. You probably could have wrapped the tape around on the bottem, but it may have just shredded anyway.
I would recommend trying a woven layer as your first layer then building off of that. Still a good job guys. Matty definitely looked to be on a nose dive on a few there. It definitely needs revisiting. 😎👍
Me staring at Scotty: 😐 You let him do this¿! You know as well as I do that this is a recipe for an OTB situation, maybe even a scorpion... 🤔 Nevermind, I see why you did it now. 🤭🤫 Yeah, Go Matty.... 😅 Hope he doesn't get really hurt but still... This should be good. 😂😂 😂
So really, it is possible to make a properly structured jump made with a purely duct tape transition. This design I wouldn't say is the evidence of it, but that it's possible. Just needs a few adjustments to the design. Sidewalls could use routed out slots following the curve about 2" from the edge in segments to mimic the 2x4 placement and thick enough to allow a lot of layers of tape to be fed through it which would allow for more tension to be maintained throughout the application of the tape. Thus, acting as the replacement supports. However, though it's possible with adjustments and an altered design, it would certainly not be an acceptable alternative based on cost of materials. Great video, still shows how strong duct tape is. I did not think it was gonna last as long as it did, initially.
Why do folks always drop the bikes? Almost every BMX video I watch involves dropping, throwing, tossing off roofs, and scraping on rails. I just wish I could have a bike like this. :-) Ever since I was a kid in the 70-80's. kids just dropped their bikes when they got off.
Now we need a part 2 with flex tape 👍🏽
part 2 with making a quarterpipe!
Why didn't you do one side to side layer and one vertical layer. I think that would make it a lot stronger. Just saying.
That’s because most Americans doesn’t understand physics.
Add one diagonal as the third layer
That’s really smart
@jeremybaker5444 and tape the underside of it also.
That’s not smart because the sides are still is what holds the vertical ones on, so if it peels off one of the sides the vertical will just fall too
MythBusters meets Jackass is a hilarious synopsis of this channel. 😂😂
You’ve came so far in your recovery 😃
Frfr I’ve been here since day one 😢😊
I spot a series here.. this was way too interesting lol. It held so well with so little
Can you imagine a duct tape half loop? 😂
Man.... this channel used to be so good.
Not gonna lie I really wanted to see that bar lol maybe redemption?
Need to try this again with a much less steep ramp.
Another banger video. 6 layer that and back flip that
Matty dances like a 42-year-old businessman at the company Christmas party. 🤣😇 That was truly creativity in action.

Glad Matty is good after that crash💪
For a 1.1 I was going to suggest that you weave the duct tape but that worked out well. Good work lads.
Much love from Arizona, Ride safe 🙏
I was more worried about the supports than the duct tape surface hahaha

Brilliant idea 👍🏼👍🏼🔥

It's true. I finally managed to get a girlfriend thanks to duct tape 🥰
@@Mortonbmx scared to ask how
@@Mortonbmx “if women don’t find ya handsome they should atleast find ya handy!”
This made me laugh so hard 😂 love this video

Faster? 😅 Scott is definitely pushing the envelope on purpose
this was a good idea
Id love to see how much tape to make it stronge and study enough to actually use it as a ramp for tricks.

😂
That was fun. Next time use 10 layers w thick duct tape. Should work!
THIS is the kind of content the internet was made for! 😂😂
I enjoyed that😃
Finally some real science on this channel 😂😂

Amazing content guys, vid of the year fr😂😁

AHAHA LOVE IT!
Cool video... Next time overlap each row of tape so there's no gaps. Alternate starting from the bottom then next layer start from the top.
You gotta do this again but made fully from tape and very minimal wood lol
Before Matty said Bar Spin I was going to say Bar Spin.
Duck tape tires next 🤔
How many layers of tape can make a functioning BMX tire? Just straight duct tape on the rim
Hear me out. Try the same but somehow with trampoline springs and material?
Almost coked on my food when he said “just leeeean back”
Noti ganggg💪🏼
Blame JSTU or Dangie Bros, they have pretty much built whatever you can think of out of duck tape.
duct tape skate park next lol
Now we need "How many layers of duct tape to make a quarter pipe and air it" lmao
Ziptie ramp next make a series of this
Make another one. Flip it. Or just don't get hurt.
Maybe should've put a layer of plywood a few inches under the duct tape so wouldn't crash into a crossbeam ha ha
Duct tape half pipe here we come
thanks scotty.
try making the tapes interlock like cushions 10:00
Scotty!!!
Scott Start The Series please
Mythbusters x Mr Beast x Jackass = Marty Cranmer 😅😂
Part 2 jus use the whole role satisfying
What chest mount is that looks like it has a go pro mount on the back. What one is that looks like
You should’ve put one more layer of tape
Matty made me fail NNN 9 days early
Should have used gorilla tape
Can you guys sign the big piece of duck tape for me? I’ll pay for the shipping
Try flex tape next time
He learned that from Hitch
One layer, everyone knows the rules

Should have crisscrossed the layers of tape.
Tht tape kicker n Cory are about the same hight
hi and welcome to next episode of trying my little brother to reenact my accident
How much aluminium foil until you make a ramp
\____🚴♀️🇺🇸 MATTY___
