Natan for me has a one of a kind voice. Soft, explained and gentle voice. Alexa is great however kept the same range throughout the entire performance which is a bit much !in my opinion

My guess, both very inexperienced singers, most likely never even really performed by themselves, let alone with a band and relying on all the technical support...I’m not even talking TV, cameras, heat on stage, judges, audience...plus actually being in a competition, knowing this counts...being able to cut out all that noise requires experience, which they most definitely didn’t have. To sing with another person needs you to be able to focus on your part but even more to connect with the other, i.e. practice which they obviously just couldn’t do. They didn’t know how to interact with each other , totally in their heads about their own parts. Her screaming didn’t help. Not once did she try to actually tone into his voice. He tried to cut HER out instead🙈😂poor guy, I felt for him. I’m sure his in ears almost exploded and he must have struggled to even hear himself properly, when she sang over his voice. Pretty tough! Actually...this was a battle! Literally...LOL😂

Yes, cause it’s a song about religious trauma and pain, it is meant to be singed with your whole chest and soul. I love Natan a lot, but she interpreted the song better, it’s only fair to give her credit for what she did. What I get from this song is about a person, in this case, a female ( but in these day and age, it applies to anyone), that this female is someone who lives by her own rules. If anyone doesn't like how she lives her life, or how she behaves, she, from my interpretation of the lyrics, sarcastically, tell them to "take her to church" or in a nutshell, give her an exorcism, to make her be acceptable in the society. Alexa has power to her voice, but the tone in Natan's voice is so soothing and has so many layers to it. I also sensed a bit of aggressiveness in Alexa's performance against Natan which I thought was a bit odd. That said, I also think that Natan needs to open up a bit performance wise. The more we see of him with his eyes closed, could be a problem going forward. I am sure it's his way to feel the song, but he also needs to connect to the audience. Hope he will be able to do that, because if he can, his voice is a fantastic instrument, and I could listen to it for hours.

The coach, arranged the song to be more aggressive than the original. Thats probably why alexa performed like she did. Both these contestant was great at the audition, but i really think Ina missed at the song choice, for me this was a weak version of the song.
I don’t know...don’t believe the song suited either one of them. This felt super forced. Natan’s really good but had to struggle with their voices colliding and her overpowering tone. They both seemed uncomfortable. It also felt rushed and like both of them zero connected with the song, which surely isn’t their fault, simply bad match and bad song choice. And I actually like Hozier. Natan’s audition was way better but he did a solid job here. He’s really good no question. But just look at Natan’s face, he himself wasn’t too impressed about this and he knew why...not his fault, though.
Nathan sounds amazing again. Its a real shame Alexa didnt go through (that someone stole her). She deserved it and she is so amazing. I know the coaches had allready stolen two each, and couldnt steal anyone else, thats why I was a bit upset at Matoma this time for stealing the girl in the duet before this, and didnt wait to steal anyone of these two 😡 Alexa’s blind audition was one of the best 😔
Brilliant - a pure sing-off between two different vocal (and contextual/emotional meaning of lyrics) interpretations of the same song. (Except for the chorus they are interpretively singing two completely different songs - even the chorus is significantly different)
Have you even heard the other contestants? There are so many good, so I would definately not say he is head and shoulders above tthe rest. He is really great, but he almost sounded the same as in his blinds. I wonder how versatile he is. Wish there was another song choice. Alexa was so amazing in her blinds singing Gravity by Sara Bareilis. For some reason Ina Wroldsen is the worst of the coaches when it comes to picking songs and thats a bit surprising since she is such a good songwriter and vocalist herself.
I wish I could watch it as it evolves because I've come to really love Natan's voice....He is so charasmatic and talented....I love watching him....I'm 75...and live out side of Boston, MA USA
