I just found you I love these cottage paintings I have completed one so happy with it you are so clear with your instructions. I'm 77 young and took up painting about 4 years ago. Thank you so much. Patty from USA
Your work is very inspiring Stephen, keeping everything loose and impressionistic works really well, the eyes and brain seem to bring the rest together nicely 👍
Hi Stefan, it’s good to know that you’re doing OK. Want to say this I identify myself with your work now I mean yeah I still have a lot to learn in a long way somehow I like more like painting but I feel like I like more like not like a cartoonish Painting but more like something real and that’s your work and I love it and thank you so much for everything and I’m sorry I know you don’t expect any help from anybody but I’m sorry that I don’t really help with anything I know for this you need money and you never never asked for anything and Thank you you are a great teacher. Wonderful teacher thank you and God bless you always.🌹
Ah Stephen, this beautiful painting has warmed the cockles of the heart of this fellow Irishman. I will definitely have a go at this one. Thank you so much. Jack
Hi Stephen, another great tutorial from an inspiring teacher. I just attempted to do this justice and I am really pleased with my result although I still have to work on the wall - looks a bit like water!! Thank you for all your great advice and tips. Alice
Hi Stephen I have learnt so much from you I really like this Irish cottage painting you do a great job of explaining it to everyone thank you have a nice Christmas
Loved this painting. Watching from Australia. You might have a laugh, I couldn't work out the colour that sounded like pupple. Got it in the end. You have done this beautifully.
I learned alot from this demo. Would you consider painting a lovely snowy scene in a forest with a river and all the reflections in the water of the setting sun, trees and snow? I am hoping some talented artist will show the rest of us how to paint a lovely scene like this.
I absolutely love this . Do you think there might have been a chimney on the right where the picture is cropped ? Think I might add one when I make my humble attempt .
Thank you kindly. I prefer oils as they are much easier to blend together and they keep their vibrancy also. I find acrylics fade slightly as they dry.

Dude you’re a humble artist/man not allot of artists would give free advice. So thank you for everything you’ve done!!

Thank you bill. Yes there is one
on the left alright..
Sorry, my comment came a wee bit before the video was finished !
Wow omg and thank you! I paint with acrylics but want to graduate to oils. Why should I? I really want your opinion…

Awesome job! The gate is wrong, however. One side doesn’t show and the scroll work should be foreshortened. Love your work!
