My favorite fall treat is apples with brown sugar and butter as a side dish....have done it with peaches as well....my mom for winter would do cranberries and pop corn strings my grandma would by a big bag of oranges and have us stab them with cloves make designs....that was her center piece for a couple of years
I made the bread. I really enjoy Starbucks' pumpkin loaf but it is not the healthiest thing to have in the morning. I upped the pumpkin spice to 2 tablespoons, added a splash of vanilla extract, and sprinkled pumpkin seeds on top as well. It lacked the mega-sweetness of the Starbucks loaf, but it more than made up for it in terms of having a wonderful pumpkin flavor. It will be perfect with coffee in the morning. :-)
