My mind goes directly to those winter moment when hands freeze on any tool...this might be a good solution to try. What type of paracord are you using?
Great point! I don't know the origin of the paracord, i received it as a gift and I really liked the color. It is not something of quality but it certainly protects the handle. Thank you Bogdan !
If you use real leather string wet it first when it dries the leather will shrink and become very tight. I have found para-cord works great also.
Amazing technick.

Glad you liked it bro !

Glad you like it Catalina !
I done mine from the top down to head....ill try this way next
Really good idea using paracord. Hows it work?
Very good idea! I tried leather but it cuts over time. I'm curious how long this paracord model will last. Keep us posted! All the best!
Did you find it cut in use, or that it would fail without over-strikes?
How long is aprox this paracord? 2m? Thanks for the vídeo
nice work, mate ;)
Thank you Val! How you protect your axe?
@@BushcraftMood I made a handle guard as well, but I used jute rope and wood glue. It's also a good method, it gets really strong.
