what a great little ute there. we used to have one of them in the wrecking yard I worked at in Gawler S.A. back in the early 80's. 48 Chev loadmaster with a tow truck jib and winch on the back for moving cars around the yard. reliable as anything except for the fact it had no brakes at all. no worries...all you did when you needed to stop was crunch it back into 1st, let the clutch out then turn off the ignition. worked well most of the time....lol
Yes uts a lovely truck for sure and a Chevy is my Favorite But I have to say just about everyone is sick of Rat Rods and PATINA excuse for the old rusty body with peeling paint! Its a cop out and it's getting old!

I want that kind of chevy truck from 47-54 . Old rusty with modern under chassis.. i even saw a same year era that turned into a drift truck
