Awesome!! The cable needs to be thick for installation. Once the sun hits your windshield that cable will get very hot. Great install. 🫡🚚

Looks like a nice little camera. Really good at night it seems. Great idea to have a nice dash cam. We’ve talked about getting one, but haven’t done it yet.
These dashcam have come a long way! I had a few years ago, and the videos were garbage!

Cables are WAY to thick. I am trying to be discreet. This has huge cables that are bigger than my TV cables at home. And, only one of the cables are 90 degree to the front cam. Also, does the cam stay on once you turn the car off if it is direct wired? It only comes on when it detects motion? What if the wind is blowing the trees and bushes all night, does it drain the car battery? And, good review and install, best I have seen yet for this.

Good walkthrough! What are the plastic shields that came in the box and that look like cell phone display protectors? Did you use them?
I was informed by Viofo that it will statically stick to the winshield. Then you glue the csmera to it instead of gge windshield itself for easy removal.

Good question! Maybe I didn't choose higher resolution. More resplution, more memory used on the SD card.
@@MoBangFoYoBucks no its not that. I found out that new software from december sorted it out but introduced new bug wheres in parking mode the screen stays on. I you happy how the dashcam is working now i do recommend not to update the software
@46rrodriguez It is not currently installed on the vehicle because I removed it and intend to install it on another vehicle. So O have no idea what you are talking about, sorry!
