I used to have a RAM when I was 6 and 7 years old. I don't remember what happened to it. and now I miss it and will buy me one soon. Thanks for reminding me how great this vehicle was.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. Yo Joe! :D
Just got a RAM Cycle at 42. Missed out on it as a kid. Yo! Joe!!
Great choice, Joseph! Every time I see bits of the GI Joe cartoon, I forgot how great the animation looked. I mostly remember the toys :) Great job Michael, that jump was pretty epic :D Also nice Predator reference in there :) Have a great weekend everyone!
Man I Love this vehicle I have the 2008 version
Breaker was my first Joe. I picked him since he was from Gatlinburg and i am from East Tennessee. And the RAM motorcycle was my go to Joe Vehicle. Awe Some Review...loved it...great job Michael!!!
Thanks Anthony! Nerdmasté! 🙏
Breaker was my first Joe as well!
COOL, I am your neighbor to the North just across the Ky. Tenn. line on I-75. I didn't know he was from Gatlinburg, that's awesome. I'll have to pick him up, I never owned him or Thunder who was from Louisville. I hate myself for never picking them up. Ebay here I come, LOL. Love the RAM too. I was in the army and fired a minigun from the Blackhawk several times myself, I could imagine having one on a motorbike, LOL. How bad ass would that be?
@@BaronNate I have 2 straight arm versions and 3 swivel arms...love this guy.
@@JoeSelf1982 That's Awesome!!
God ! I had this one in my childhood 😰😓
Amazing review Michael! That jump scene was magical! I totally laughed out loud at that! I never had this vehicle as a kid. My friend had it, and I got to play with his when we got together for a Joe/Cobra war, and I was the good guys. I enjoyed the vehicle, but it never lasted too long for me in battle. A stupid Cobra Rattler would usually take it out in the first five minutes of the war. Ah well, at least the driver would always survive. It was a long walk back to base though, as whoever was driving the RAM was on a recon mission with no backup. Great memories brought up from this awesome video Michael. Thank you so much for pouring your heart, and soul into these. It really shows how much you love the precious things we hold near and dear from our childhoods. Thank you again for all you do. It is appreciated beyond words. I hope your weekend is amazing. Nerdmasté brother 🙏
Thanks Scott! Great memories! Thanks for sharing. And remember, don't try that jump at home! Stalker's a professional with government grade insurance! :D
I hope some of my Joes ended up in your collection thumbs up stay Awsome.
I love the ‘ol painless’ reference!!!
Another great video Michael. Thank you.
Thanks Joe! I was explaining to Luana why it's called that. She said it didn't sound painless! lol. It is if it only takes a second. :D
@@MichaelMercy LOL!
Love the vid! The RAM (along with Short Fuze) was my first ever Joe toy and holds a special place in my heart. Count me as one of those who prefers the open shaft design to the handlebars of the reissue.
Keep up the great work!
Love your reviews man. Crack me up! Good time to be a kid back in 82 very cool stuff.
Great vid!! I only gave 25th anniversary version though but it is one of my favorite Joe vehicles
Oh man, have I been jonesin' for a new video and this one definitely scratched that itch! Awesome work as always, Brother!
Thanks Erick! Yo Joe!
Tripwire was my main RAM-rider for the longest time.
Thanks for the great review Michael!
Amazing!
great review, always happy to see gi joe reviews!
I am from India and I save my pocket money to buy this motorcycle. I remember that days when I came from school and stand at toy shop to look G.I.Joe toys. After some month saving I brought that bueaty with 1 action figure. Thanks for unboxing type vedio and review.
Love your videos. Can't wait for the next History of GI JOE video.
The RAM motorcycle has that cool and sleek look but packs a punch! Thanks for showcasing its fine features in this video. This is a must have item for any GI Joe fan.
The RAM is a beautiful vehicle, small and easy to handle, I was busy with Star Wars when it was released but I am pretty sure the RAM was the most popular vehicle among kids that played with Joes by the time.
I believe the UK Action Force release of the RAM came with a repaint of Scarlett called 'Quarrel'.
I picked up one of the 82 release Ram cycles on EBay in 2000 with the original box. I love the box with its art almost as much as the cycle! Minus the odd chin area on the newer joe sculptures, some of the 25th anniversary stuff looks pretty good. I don’t know if I would have been so enameled with joe if they were that hyper detailed in the 80’s. Ahh, who am I kidding? I would have either way! The comics and cartoon along with packaging art really added to the imagination and thus playability of these toys. Nice video once again.
For whatever reason, I always thought the RAM cycle was Stalker’s personal vehicle, lol. I never got a chance to get the original Mombat tank, but I was fortunate to get the RAM cycle. I wasn’t disappointed and it was definitely a cool vehicle to have. Thank you for the video and content! Yo Joe!!
I wonder why Hasbro didn't call it the Rapid Assault Motorcycle, would've fit perfectly.
Nerd-maste 🙏
Yes! I'm noticed! 🤘
great review I never had a vintage Ram growing up but I do have 4 of the modern ones. 2 green and 2 the later Tan ones . one part you missed out on for the modern is there is a removable panel on the cannon to see some the inner workings on it. I also have the Z force version of it that came with Quarrel
Excellent review Michael! I love the vintage RAM cycle. Do you have plans for a Classified RAM review?
Thanks. Don’t have the RAM though.
Your commentary reminds me of how I tried to deliver my pitches to my folks to get some of the different vehicles, lol
Cobra Parasite comes to mind...
“Mom, this thing has rolling wheels so it won’t scratch the floors, it won’t snag on the carpet... it holds like 8 figures, too... EIGHT! (more than that actually)... and it’s *only* $20!” The back chain gun *and* the front guns swivel side-to-side... plus the canons in the front can be elevated!
AND it has a WORKING CATAPULT, which I promise I’ll never aim at the dogs!”
Still one of my top-10 favorite vehicles. Sure it was a little loud visually, but not nearly as bad as the next several years’ releases tended to be... like that neon colored earth-mover with the drop-down spring missiles that seldom worked... that had an obvious control handle clipped on top to manipulate the shovel... I had that, too... 😑🤫
Also that death-defying jump over the Autobots was a thing of beauty
Was that just fishing-line assisted stop motion that you edited?
Hello Mike
Anybody ever notice paint applications on figures were different in commercials. Breakers side pouch is yellow and not silver
Could you imagine a 20 mm gatling cannon on a small motorcycle??? Would be impressive to see!
I always thought rock n roll was the perfect joe for the ram..
They should have made it stand for Rapid Attack Motorcycle
Sir Michael , may I ask what is your daily work? Hehe
Will you buy the Ram Cycle from the Classified Series? (I'm just asking out of curiosity)
I have one.
How can I get my hands on some vintage G.I.Joe
if kamen rider has taught me anything its that motorcycle's are awesome .
It could totally just be rapid attack motorcycle instead of rapid fire motorcycle
Can you please tell me the name of the joe you were using
