Keeway RKV 125 Six Month Review/Overview A quick review/overview of my Keeway RKV 125. I have owned this fun little bike for six months now, so I thought it was the perfect time to do a video of my thoughts. I hope you enjoy the video. I appreciate the fact that you didn't bother to hide your number plate like other people do, like they're gonna be a victim of conspiracy theories once their plates are shown on the video lol, never ever understood the logic behind it.
I have the predecessor of this bike the speed 150. Don't underestimate these small bike's fun factor. It's really good! Even I had a sv1000 as well I really like to ride the little donkey :D That is soo simple as a rock. 1 cylinder, ohv , 1 spark, Mikuni carb, kick starter with electric starter, even it has a gear indicator : Do Nothing else needed, I always ride with smile :)
great vid, looks a nice little bike. well equipped too, my 2016 Kawasaki doesn't have a gear indicator! I don't understand peoples prejudice with it being 'made in China' it doesn't stop people buying iPhones! I've seen a few leximotos around and they look good for the money too. I did have a Hyosung (Korean made) bike and people looked down their nose at that, but it was a cracking bike. Can't blame people for buying a new warranted bike for the same price a 3 year old abused Japanese one. (Especially with 125s which can lead hard lives in the wrong hands!) Great vid, enjoy your bike and keep up the good work!
Thanks, glad you enjoyed the video :) Totally agree mate, one of my nephews has a Lexmoto and that seems like a good bike too, he has had no issue with it yet, he got his not long after I got my bike.
ive got the rkv 125 facelift model. and i think its uncomftorable. your legs are hitting the tank if you want to break/shift up. is there and way to comprehend that?
0 to 50 mph is great not much pulling power after that on our 125's mate. I did my first lesson on the bigger bikes this weekend got on a Honda 750cc oh my god what a massive difference the ride is smooth and power is there when u need it 30 to 70 is on in a flash and that's not giving it any beans on the throttle. really enjoyed it booked some more lessons after Easter then going in for full test when ready cant wait. that wind is savage on the carriageways blows u all over the place add the rain and its very fun not lol.good vid again keep um coming I'm meeting a friend tmoz he has just got his new bike will take some pics if remember and post them on Instagram you have my address piemanrides. ride safe. did you read the article in the daily star today about the idiots on their bikes doing 170mph just 1 outcome to that.
Yea mate that 5th gear does not give much extra on the 125's. Lucky git lol, will be doing lessons fairly soon, need to get my theory out of the way first though. Did not read the article but 170 on our roads is not the smartest move is it.
booking my theory asap just brushing up on the highway code and shit lol been 20 ish years since I passed my test lol. I'm paying 60 quid per 2 hour session bit steep but will be worth it in the end hopefully.
Halfdead Rider was talking to a few bikers after the lesson the instructor is very good and good rep which helps just gotta practise my figure of 8 for next time and using the revs and clitch more to keep the bike up right but he is very good and taught me a few tips which ive used already.
Yes I would mate, good fun bike, cheap, but very well made and equipped, the latest models models have fuel injection too. Petrol (17l tank) lasts ages and they are very cheap to maintain, especially by yourself. I kept the stock tyres on, but they are a very hard compound, fine as long as you are sensible and super careful in the wet, they will last years. Always be on the lookout for oil/petrol on the ground as you should anyway, look at my 'I almost crashed' video if you have not, you will see what can "almost" happen. If you can afford it people do recommend buying some better tyres no matter what make new bike you have, ones from the factory (on low cc bikes at least) are generally not that great.
This video is really nice, for me not an englisch speaker it's also very nice Could you do a video about to tune the bike To get the bike racing 120 kmh
I'm glad you like the video mate, I have got quite a lot with this bike, but I sold it over two years ago now. I now have a Kawasaki ER6f (Ninja 650r).
@@benediktgraf8585 the only way really is to change the sprocket size/s, going down like -1 tooth on the front sprocket will lower top speed and increase acceleration a bit, the opposite +1 tooth will give higher top speed but lower the acceleration. It's opposite for both if you change the size of the rear. My bike was the carburettor version, I got it just before the fuel injected model was released, you might be able to get someone to play with the ECU on those to help, but I'm not sure, also not sure the cost would be worth it, ask around at local garages.
Halfdead Rider i bought New RkV 125. in my country it is branded Benneli not keeway. i want to ask you about the running in Period. should i be afraid of ruining the Engine ? i have ridden it for 160 km at very low speeds (50 km/h max) not exceeding 4500 Rpm. im i doing good ??
+mohamed el mtioui Yea that's fine but don't be afraid to get those revs up a bit higher, it will do no harm, especially now you have put some k's on it. Just don't keep it at high revs for long and vary the revs anyway. Also make sure to change the oil a little sooner than usual as its cheap just to make sure it's kept in best condition. Enjoy the bike, they are fun little bikes.
NorthEast Asmr I don't think there was a long intro, I thought it was a decent video and 19 mins is not that long, did you see chase on two wheels latest video, 35 mins lol
+NorthEast Asmr I like my intro lol it's fine if you skip it 😁 👌 I will probably make something simple and short sometime, when I think of something decent to do.

Sorry mate I don't know, I never had any issue myself, it was a great little bike.

Same for me mate, prices are about right for the lessons, it does vary in different areas.

@@HalfdeadRider thanks for the help bud 👍👍
How tall r u?
6' I probably looked like a right wally on it, but it was a fun intro into the bike world.
Would you recommend as a good first bike
