i usually use nail scissors. i pull the plastic strip (without pulling the hair, of course 😊) and i cut thru. i pull them easily out of my hear. shake. voila. in austria, you get 1000 pc. of plastic straps for 8€. it is worth it. i am in no pain and i am done in 3 min. cut them. ✌️

That's what I suspect for me too. I have long layered fine hair. So many buns look stupid on me because my hair just slips, especially when freshly washed.
since there's no commentary from the poster: at 1:55, can see that the first loop at 00:20 does get flattened - pull a little at it to fluff it up at the end. must use a clear plastic tie (or one that closely matches your hair color) at 00:55 for the second tie because it will show in the back if you use any other colored tie. tucking into the front the end piece at 1:35 - it will get dislodged in high wind and just needs a quick tuck back in, or will possibly come out when putting on a top that goes over your head.

Good luck taking this apart at night. I tried this, and never again. The way it's tied, pulled, tugged, wrapped, and then sprayed with hair spray, it hurts like hell to unwind it all at night. Never again.
what I love about this is there is not 10 minutes of blah blah blah.....just gets to the point!
