what hurts the most is that pentagon's lyrics are best understood by native korean speakers in korea, but a large portion of korea still disregards them. as an international fan who is still struggling to learn korean, i find their lyrics to be very meaningful and each song addresses a different topic while still being very profound. wake up korea

I get it that everyone misses E'Dawn and Yanan, but please remember to support the rest of Pentagon too. They work really hard and are just trying to make the best of what they can with the current situation. I'm sure both E'Dawn and Yanan would want everyone to support the comeback and to not complain about their absence or diss the song just because they're not in it. The song is amazing and the music video has a positive/energetic vibe. They did well and I'm proud of them. My view is this. This band is supposed to be a family, and yes, is portrayed as boyfriend material. But because of that portrayal, fans are put into a state of delusion where they believe that they have a chance with a man, who is either not in their country or doesn’t know they exist. So when reality smacks them in their faces, and they figure out “no don’t have a chance with this person” and they retaliate by demanding the boys be taken out of the band instead of accepting that they’re romantically happy with someone and move on. But that’s not why I stopped stanning them. In reality I’m just mentally boycotting cube entertainment all together, but- Pentagon dropped their brothers, their family, on the curb and expected us to be ok with that. Pentagon really captures the fun loving group of guys. Still sad that knetizens can't get over E'dawn dating. Also praying for Yanan's healing! I’ll never shut up about how much I love this music video. I honestly think this is the best concept Pentagon has ever brought, it’s so unique and special and I wish this song had the recognition it deserves... What I love the most about Pentagon is that they do music to send a message and because they love music, they never tried to follow the trends to get more recognition. They wrote this amazing song about being themselves no matter what and never lower themselves to be on the others’ level, and decided to express the freedom it wanted to promote with a funny choreography, weird outfits and some screamed lines. They did a dark concept and wrote a song about going crazy after a breakup, and not only did they act amazingly in the mv expressing the pure pain and desperation that were being told by the song, but they brought all the acting in every single live performance too, filling it with facial expressions that really gave me goosebumps, and not with sexy choreographies and random smirks towards the camera like every other group would have done (let’s be honest). Pentagon are the bravest, truest, most creative, most dedicated group in the kpop industry, and after everything they’ve done in the past two years it’s so frustrating to know that some people still see them as the “boys that sang Shine”. Universe, let’s show them how proud we are if everything they did and keep doing and let’s give them a win, please. They deserve it.

this song came out during a very difficult time for me and has become a source of happiness for me ever since. everything about this - the flow, the lyrics, the mv, the immaculate vibes - cheers me up whenever i feel down. i just can't help it, it truly does motivate one to move on no matter what. i feel like i returned to the me of back then (emotionally), but listening to this makes me realize that i did move on. i'm happy i discovered Pentagon and their music!

I get it that everyone misses E'Dawn and Yanan, but please remember to support the rest of Pentagon too. They work really hard and are just trying to make the best of what they can with the current situation. I'm sure both E'Dawn and Yanan would want everyone to support the comeback and to not complain about their absence or diss the song just because they're not in it. The song is amazing and the music video has a positive/energetic vibe. They did well and I'm proud of them.
On a side note I do wish Yanan to recover and I hope that E'Dawn will be able to return to the group as well but I think it's important to support the eight members who are trying their best at this time despite being short two members.

My view is this.
This band is supposed to be a family, and yes, is portrayed as boyfriend material.
But because of that portrayal, fans are put into a state of delusion where they believe that they have a chance with a man, who is either not in their country or doesn’t know they exist. So when reality smacks them in their faces, and they figure out “no don’t have a chance with this person” and they retaliate by demanding the boys be taken out of the band instead of accepting that they’re romantically happy with someone and move on.
But that’s not why I stopped stanning them. In reality I’m just mentally boycotting cube entertainment all together, but- Pentagon dropped their brothers, their family, on the curb and expected us to be ok with that.
Why the hell would anyone be ok with that? I’m sure as hell not.
Also EDawn produced this song so that tells me he's just being kept out of the spotlight until things quiet down. You can even see n feel where EDawn's parts would fit in this song. Hope to see pentagon with the whole group again cause this song was missing something musically. I’ll never shut up about how much I love this music video. I honestly think this is the best concept Pentagon has ever brought, it’s so unique and special and I wish this song had the recognition it deserves...
What I love the most about Pentagon is that they do music to send a message and because they love music, they never tried to follow the trends to get more recognition. They wrote this amazing song about being themselves no matter what and never lower themselves to be on the others’ level, and decided to express the freedom it wanted to promote with a funny choreography, weird outfits and some screamed lines.
They did a dark concept and wrote a song about going crazy after a breakup, and not only did they act amazingly in the mv expressing the pure pain and desperation that were being told by the song, but they brought all the acting in every single live performance too, filling it with facial expressions that really gave me goosebumps, and not with sexy choreographies and random smirks towards the camera like every other group would have done (let’s be honest).
Pentagon are the bravest, truest, most creative, most dedicated group in the kpop industry, and after everything they’ve done in the past two years it’s so frustrating to know that some people still see them as the “boys that sang Shine”.
Universe, let’s show them how proud we are if everything they did and keep doing and let’s give them a win, please.

this song came out during a very difficult time for me and has become a source of happiness for me ever since. everything about this - the flow, the lyrics, the mv, the immaculate vibes - cheers me up whenever i feel down. i just can't help it, it truly does motivate one to move on no matter what. i feel like i returned to the me of back then (emotionally), but listening to this makes me realize that i did move on. i'm happy i discovered Pentagon and their music!
