    This is brilliant thanks! I was just reading about the take and pay and was getting a little confused with the outside in, and top to bottom. This really helped me as I was doing each bet in turn and now I know better

      RUclips is so weird. At least I always do the livestreams on the same days and times. Thursday at 2pm PST (Open Classroom) and on Mondays at 7pm PST (Tournament).

    53 to 1 does that meen that you only get 35 chips or do they also give you back the chip that you bet? 36 chips in all?

      If the player wins, the bet will stay on the table after the person is paid. The player can leave that up for another spin or take it. It's their choice.

    Always great to have educational videos like this, but here's a question:
    At the casinos near me, there is a six week class that is offered prior to auditioning for both roulette and craps, but let's say I wanted to learn online through an outlet such as yours. Assuming you're familiar with these classes, what sort of things would I be missing from that experience, and what could I do to compensate, aside from the obvious "homework" of practice?

    • @VegasAces
      @VegasAces  5 лет назад

      Thank you FlagDude!
      It depends on the casino. Some casinos, when they offer a course like that, require you to attend the classes and they don't accept outside training. In that case, you would go to that school and use my resources as an additional boost to your education. Plus, it's good to get hands on experience on a Roulette or Craps table.
      Other casinos are more laid back with their hiring and as long as you can pass the audition then you don't have to attend school. (School is optional). In this case, I would suggest getting hired based on the games you can learn at home (such as blackjack, pai-gow, baccarat and carnival games) and after you get hired, learn the hard games (such as craps or roulette) while you're on break. This way the casino is paying you to learn new games and you don't have to pay to go to school.
      I hope that helped!

    how long did it take you to get the proper technique for rolling the ball? im just starting roulette school and im terrible. first day of rolling practice

    • @VegasAces
      @VegasAces  4 года назад +2

      It takes a while and lots of practice. Remember, it's all about muscle memory. Even after years of dealing, I would still have off-nights where my ball would fling out of the wheel and hit a player in the most embarrassing places. So please, don't stress or worry. It happens.

      @@VegasAces yeah i get real hard on myself but i have to remember its only my THIRD day of class and my first day of practicing rolling. I feel like a total dork with my fingers going in the wrong places; but I REALLY want to make this work ; thats why im watching videos at home. BTW your video is AWESOME so far and you are GREAT!!! Let's hope i get on that learning curve!!!!!

      @@VegasAces Actually we are 4 weeks in and i can really whip the ball around now. BUT my big bugaboo is pulling out 5,6,7,8 stack from the wheel to pay or manuever them around so i can push them. My pushes used to be real bad but they are getting a little better. That claw action of pulling and manuevering large stacks of chips around is giving me anxiety like im gonna fail the class. WE still have 3 or 4 weeks to go but im afraid if i fail. Do many people fail roulette dealer school? I want it bad. I have 70 chips but i just ordered 100 more but right now i feel like i have two left thumbs. Sorry if this message is too long but i just think you are awesome and your videos are so clear and fantastic!!!!!

    • @TheWowee1111
      @TheWowee1111 4 года назад

      You know like using your finger tips to pull out stacks into say, a flower formation, or a triangle, i just cant get my fingertips to do what my mind wants to do and touch the bottom chips when pulling them away from the wheel. Im super scared im going to fail but i hope thats just in my head. They only invited 13 of us who never dealed from over 60 so i feel like this is my one and only big chance! Again sorry about the long message and you rock!
