Got an update for us?
7:28 wait, did they really hook up the eod bot with a Xbox controller lmao?
Nintendo controller.
We had the bots, but we never actually used them, because the battery was a bitch, it took forever to set up which makes you a target, it was just plain annoying, and we'd only break it out if we absolutely had to (at least when I was in) police in the states are the reverse, as they use it every chance they get. We mostly used sniff dogs, and signal jammers. Simple, and effective.
We never actually have a chance to see any real action, and we were basically safety advisors.
We weren't infantry, and we weren't the seals.
A lot of fun times just dicking around, playing cards, and working out.
와우 멋지당 베리굿
Nice very good soon I will come join the team working 💯✊
Are those Daniel Defense Mk18's?
Thank you for the video.
They're still a part of NECC not NSW no?
Navy EOD is under the command of NECC, not NSWC. Only Navy SEAL and Swicks (and their support personnel) are under NSWC.
I love my military men and women
Can USN Commissioned Officers be EOD’s or is it only enlisted? If so want do the EOD do? Can they be deploy and take part in Naval Special Operations missions?
@tonylee7548check
Officer pipelines a little different then the enlisted. You will go through a different longer dive school I think about 6-9 months. Get qualed on like everything the navy has to offer. (Enlisted eod do a short course about 4 months) then you will go to eod school about a year then a shit ton of other schools (airborne, underwater, combat courses) if you want to do sof missions as a officer go seal or ranger. Mostly the enlisted eod are the ones who go to seal or green beret platoons or ranger or devgru. I guess an easy way to look at it is EOD is a toolset for sof. Enlisted are going to be under the command of the respected platoon. An officer doesn’t fall under that if that makes sense, an officer would be in charge of the EOD unit itself not the seal team or what ever sof team.
Yes, EOD Officers are called Special Operations Officers. They are the ones in-charge of Navy EOD and Navy Divers. And at much higher level, a SpecOps Officer can move on to command NECC - Navy Expeditionary Combat Command.
Us navy ❤️❤️hard training
it's is the navy Seal ?
they deploy with SEAL Team insertions frequently.
No, this is Navy EOD (aka Bomb Squad for the Navy). However, some Navy EOD Technicians may be deployed with Navy SEAL Platoons as the Bomb Techs. for those platoons.
Do EOD techs ever become SEALs? Like, once their contracts run up, instead of reenlisting, do some go on to BUD/S?
Some try out for SEALs some don’t
Back in the '80-'90's, there used to be the Twin Pin Program, where SEALs could crossrate to EOD and vice versa. But that program was disestablished in the mid-90's, I think.
According to the old-timers, there were more SEAL to EOD than the other way around, because the optempo for EOD was much better than SEAL during that time.
@@SV-kr9fucool! Also, I’ve read that many eod guys literally augment and force multiply with SEAL teams so they’re more than likely a part of the team with the guys.
@@offspringfan1288 : Getting attached with SEAL Platoons is not all it cracked up to be.

EOD is not special forces.
@@rmudge13 Navy EOD IS Special Forces what are you on about?
@@sin9037 incorrect NAVY EOD are not special forces, just because you’re in a special operations unit does not make you special forces. Just like the Army has civil affairs and psyops, those are not special forces either but they’re SOF units.
@@sin9037 NO EOD is NOT Special Forces.........in fact the only SPECIAL FORCES is the Army Green berets.
@@sin9037 only green berets are SF. It's confusing because the ROTW uses the term SF/SOF interchangebly but the US doesn't.

Is the Navy EOD part of SOCOM?
No
No, it is not. Navy EOD is considered to be a part of the Navy Special Operations Community only in the Navy. However, it can be "attached" to USSOCOM Units.

Navy had smooth weapons well taken care of, everything was on beeps dots and timing, they were very specific on how to turn and move.I haven't taken a gun apart in years.and put it back together...hand to hand combat , practice over and over after I showered and got to rest if practice a half hour more to get it right....it sucks with your face in the sand by the way, they asked me if I had a problem with it,I said I don't know why I have to been sworn at and the guy said are you a pus I said no are you.and they seperatd us....

Hello dear
Your left
3:52 this is so stupid
why do we need navy when we got Marines?
Probably the dumbest comment!!!
Marines EOD does not deal with underwater ordnance. Marine EOD does not get attached to USSOCOM units.
@@SV-kr9fumarine corps eod gets attached to marsoc so technically it does
@@Sonicmax8728 : USMC EOD Techs. still do not deal with underwater ordnance. And in general, they are not dive qualified; whereas, "all" Navy EOD Techs. (males & females) must be dive and jump qualified as well as passing the the Underwater Ordnance Division even before they get to earn the Crab.
Only a few Marine EOD Techs., with at least, 2 years of EOD experience, get selected to attend the MARSOF EOD Level I in order for them to be qualified to attach to MARSOC. This is similar to Army 28th EOD Company (Airborne) that get attached to units under the USASOC. Both of those programs were not established until late-2000's to early 2010's, because during the wars in A'Stan & Iraq (mid-2000's), Navy EOD was so undermanned that it had such a problem in supporting units under USSOCOM and Fleet Activities at the same time.
@@SV-kr9fu actually USMC eod is moving towards dealing with underwater ordnance. While it is not apart of their pipeline I know a lot of guys are being pushed to dive school
