  • For fixing a vacuum-sealed beverage bottle cap, I couldn't find anything online that had a solution to the broken/malfunctioning cap that has an open/close button on it. Hope this solution works for you, thanks for viewing!

Dude! Thank you so much! Ours wouldn’t pour correctly when you clicked it open.. just a trickle. We are on vacation and we use ours for hot water for baby formula. We are just about to leave the hotel room for the long drive home and I decide to try and fix it. It is obvious the gasket is out of place and so I mess with it and now it pours out if it is open or closed. I search and find your video and see how your gasket is sat on the top and realize ours is on completely wrong. I ask my wife if she ever removed it and she says yes. I turn it around and place it how yours is and it works as good as new. Thank you so much!

I don't know how it happened that it boke. I told my cleaner to "just rinse it out" cause I usually clean it. And I don't know how, but after I watched your video, 2:57 pieces was the wrong way. No idea how it got that way from "rinsing out" but thank you for guiding me through how to fix this

Thank you so much for this video! I broke the lid of my thermos flask by putting it on the dishwasher machine (which of course you're not supposed, but I thought nothing would happen... wrong. Never again) The lid came apart and I could not for the life of me figure out how to put it back together, and it was driving me insane 😩😩 so thank you so much for the tutorial. It's my favorite thermos and I was able to put it back together and not have to throw it away or buy another one. Thank you so much ♥️

Thank you very much for this instructive video! It worked for me. In my case, the outer circle from the outer top part was deformed because I used it in reverse as lid waiting for my tea. This seems to have deformed the circle to an ellipsis. As a result, the inner top part didn't go high enough anymore to trigger the closing mechanism. After disassembly, I used a hairdryer to heat the whole part up and then press the inner circle part back in to shape the outer ring back into place. It deformed it back and did the trick with the mechanism. Assembled everything again and now everything works again. Thank you very much for this video! :)

Hi - at 4:36 the video suddenly jumps so that you have the silicon O ring suddenly appear on the top (when previously it was just lying by the side) this is the bit I am trying to work out how to fit back on it but not sure how it goes (the top clicky mchanism is all fine and in one piece stll but trying to screw the bottom section back on.
    Cheers
