The 80s sound was untouchable and the girls were more fun no smart phones or internet just simple times.
Better days.
@@mhmosher got that right man!!!!
Yep. I'm just glad I got to experience it . Happy times
❤️ to you
Yes Brother, 80s women will be worshipped forever…
Jackson Browne is a first class, class act. An American music genius. The guy is awesome.
Tell that to Daryl Hannah.
Great song
❗🌹❗
💓
❗
Timeless song. The world will dearly miss him when we cant see him perform this song live anymore.
Wow...imagine seeing Jackson in a small bar like this.
I agree. he had a lot of good tunes. What would have been really awesome was if they recorded the whole gig that he did that night.
P
Doesn't hurt that he has the backup of an excellent bar band like Lucky Strike. Razor sharp version.
@@thomasromano9321 Is this Louisville KY ? And what year?
Perhaps one of the few rockers who didn't burn his brain out. Excellent
We know nothing about this woman except her effect on men who see her. What a great concept for a song. I wish that you find such a woman.
I try to shut my eyes, but I can't get her out of my sight. Such romantic lyrics!
This looks like a great, intimate venue and everyone out for the evening having fun. Life before coronavirus!!
Jackson is so down to earth and loves other musicians
he and glenn frye
what a jammmmmmmm!!! Never gets old, lucky band to play with Jackson!!! THANKS FOR THIS!!!!
Absolutely love the guitar player on the right of the screen... Love his character and actions!!! :)
He seems to be mimicking the actions of Danny Kortchmar the guitar player in the original live version, and that's no bad thing! ;-)
Love this
@@richardwatkins2402lol Danny always looked like he couldn’t wait to get off the stage fast enough- like there were cops scoping his car in the parking lot for a kilo or something 😂😂😂😂
It’s almost like they got the band out of the audience. Not highly rehearsed by any means.
Jackson Browne biggest hit.
wicked tune....as fresh as it was first played. great lead guitar on this one too
💎 Genuine long term genius. Man and music 🎶
agreed
Beautiful song! It reminds me when I was 18 years old at the end of high school beginning of my career!❤
I was there for this!! It was AWESOME! JB rules.
Jacksons still got it ladies♥️♥️♥️
Love It!!! One of the best songs made!!!
Jackson Browne been rocking it a couple years
Jackson Browne at the San Javier Jazz Festival in an open arena, on a beautiful summer evening remains my favourite concert of all time :-)
God dammm he's one cool. Mother.
I've always loved this song. It reminds me a lot of Stacey in Fast Times at Ridgemont High, the poor girl who lost her cherry to Ron Johnson on a bench at a baseball diamond. "It's really warm out here." (Ron Johnson takes off his jacket as Stacey shivers.) "Yeah, really warm."
Great song!!! Best ever!
Just a great song performed by a great artist.........always loved this song by Jackson Browne and he and the band sound damn good!
THEY ROCKED THE PLACE
His songs were in several 80s movies. Played Running on Empty nonstop.
I could have lived the whole rest of my life without seeing Jackson Browne as an old guy (like me) singing ANYTHING. "Thanks* for sharing this.
Sounds good with those kids just out of college music school! Great job!
Wow , Damn good performance !! Sounded great .
Sound even much better, never get old ,alway get better.. great stuff.
They sound so good.
I'm surprised Jackson had an open soundcheck you could tell he was trying to find what range worked best for him. I love to see The Human Side of him where he's not so perfect. I'm sure once the show is on he was Perfection as always! Love you Jackson
❤❤ U so much Jackson your voice is so magnificent 💋
This song is one of my favorites to play on guitar, a total classic
The guy on the right, on lead guitar knocks me out, great performer and muso enjoying his music.
those punks in the band are very soulful, great version
Yeah I was gonna say they're pretty good. But they look like a punk band of late 30 somethings to early 40 somethings backing up this adult contemporary guy who is pushing 70 lol.
yeah but they're killin' it!!
I was 9 years old when this song was released. I remember it from the movie Fast Times At Ridgemont High. Back then I was more about the girls in the movie than the song. IF anyone told me that 41 years later I would like this song more than females these days I would say you are crazy. How things change as you age lmao.
love the way says Here We Go 💌
Such a legend!
Beautiful.
Well, just look at that girl with the lights coming up in her eyes
She's got to be somebody's baby
She must be somebody's baby
All the guys on the corner stand back and let her walk on by
She's got to be somebody's baby
She must be somebody's baby
She's got to be somebody's baby, she's so fine
She's probably somebody's only light
Gonna shine tonight
Yeah, she's probably somebody's baby, alright
I heard her talking with a friend
When she thought nobody else was around
She said she's got to be somebody's baby
She must be somebody's baby
'Cause when the cars and the signs
And the streetlights light up the town
She's got to be somebody's baby
She must be somebody's baby
She's got to be somebody's, she's so
She's gonna be somebody's only light
Gonna shine tonight
Yeah, she's gonna be somebody's baby tonight
I try to shut my eyes, but I can't get her out of my sight
I know I'm gonna know her, but I gotta get over my fright
Well, I'm just gonna walk up to her, I'm gonna talk to her tonight
Alright
Yeah, she's gonna be somebody's only light
Gonna shine tonight
Yeah, she's gonna be somebody's baby tonight
She's gonna be somebody's only light, gonna shine tonight
Yeah, she's gonna be somebody's baby tonight
Gonna shine tonight, make her mine tonight
Gonna shine tonight, make her mine tonight
Gonna shine tonight, make her mine tonight, ah-ah
Gonna shine tonight, make her mine tonight
Gonna shine tonight, make her mine tonight, yeah
Gonna shine tonight, make her mine tonight

here we go yes ❗
What a great song!
Jackson I know you're somebody's baby? He sang this song first last night 🌉 in concert !!!
My all time favorite song.❤
It is truly sad to get old!
I understand what you're saying, but getting old is just a part of life...like being born ;)
@@wimsele - Right. Its not how long you live, it's what you do while you do live. Jackson has made the world a better place.
Love you Jackson Brown ❤
Hearing this song on my run 😉
The guy on the right has to live up to the great Danny Kortchmar, and is doing a great job. As for Jackson he sounds great for he’s age. I’m thankful I can still experience him live,. A great artist from a great era that included session musicians that defined that period. Top score to these guys playing, they had big shoes to fill
Was Kortchmar the young guitarist in the original Jackson Browne 1982 video of him performing, looks like in a warehouse, and the video focuses a lot on him?
They sure did had big shoes to fill. I like the original studio live version, but this version is excellent.
Great stuff!
Wow young band members
Was that lead guitar player trying to tune his guitar throughout the song ? It sounded out of tune
I thought they were performing in someones Garage at first 🤔
When I saw the roller door open, I was thinking ??
I hope the neighbours don't mind the music 😅
💖💖this song 👍👍
Jennifer Jason Leigh ❤
Sounds great guys!!!
Do all the band members have the same mom
Greatness folks.
Soooooo classy!
Wow!! ❤❤❤❤
Send those dudes down to Australia.
💙 song matured well ty honey 💜
sounds amazing!!
Fast times at Ridgemont High
Шикарная музыка!)🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Puro Sentimiento Hermano!!
That was pretty faithful to the recording until the end when there was an added improvisational guitar part.
That part is actually in the recording just way back in the mix. I only know this because I recently learned this song for my cover band and heard it. I never realized it was there before.
❤❤❤❤
I love singer song writers
yeah❗
Great!!!!!
Legend
When a bunch of head strong guitarist want to whale their solos but Mr Browne keeps them in check.
🌹
Happy Birthday JB
3 guitars?
We’re is the lucky strike?
o here we go again ....
Yes his voice is not as strong as prior years....It's called aging.
Thwy dont make music like they use to.
Cathy Johnson The Allan Parsons Project, same era and I just said the same as you did, it’s just not like this anymore, regrettably =(
Not to be racist but most of the youth today idolizes black gang culture and latino music even their english accent is disgusting nowadays... Bring back the 80s!
Is it just me or does he not seem nearly as excited as the guitarist playing the strat?
Can you not blame them?? They're playing with the GREAT Jackson Browne! What an honor.
He should jam with hall and oates
cool
This is great.
in '65 he was 17, in '69 he was 21, in '16 he was 68
Are the musicians Americans?
transposed down.......my ears!!!!!!
❗🌹❗
❗
They should all go on tour w JB
He has dropped the key down from 'D' to 'C"...
Very normal... everybody ages and so will you someday
I think the song sounds better in C.
Huawei is a criminal organization. Key words: “I THINK the song sounds better in C.”
@gururo Y I agree
I play it in C.
Did Mick Molloy [guitarist right of Jackson] steal that Gibson Les Paul from Peter Frampton's LIVE concert Oh so many years ago?
👁👁🌹
Chief showboat to the left of Jackson should put a limit on the whammy bar . I know he is excited, but try to stay true to the song.
not to complain but they should have turned up the bass. also: I need more cowbell!
All i can think of is Stacey and Demone bout to bone...
Sounds better in the original key
Jesus what 20-30 years can do to someone. look at the other videos of them doing this back in like '82. Crazy how he doesnt look or sound anything the same haha
Guys, you won't believe it. An artist looks and sounds different from 36 years ago.
piano man
