Out in West Texas near Fort Stockton, there are huge vinyards. Those were starting in the early 80s. But a decade earlier, it was the Llano Estacado area around Lubbock. So more than 50 years people have known and enjoyed those.
Im definitely going to have to make a trip :), my parents use to live in the Lubbock area.
