vasline is a good lubricant i also had an ADDA fan on my PSU.. with sleeve bearings after lubricating the axel it became quiet and its been 6 months and its still quiet.. I replaced the fan witha 90CFM coolermanster sickle flow last week instead of powering the fan from 2 pin PSU board i routed the power pin of fan out of PSU and plugged into molex 12v.. My new PSU now has cool and quiet fan with LEDs :P .. insted of messing around with PSU fan wires route them out and plug them into molex or board points :P
Good video and advice thank you :) A little tip :) If you are not very good at soldering or you do not have any soldering equipment you can join the two wires that have been stripped using a small bit of terminal block. All you need to do is to screw the wires so they are held firmly. Then if you need to replace the fan again just unscrew the terminal block and slide the wires out. Job Done :)
any 120mm standard pc fan will fit all you have to do is make sure its 12v and just cut the wires and join them (if there is an extra yellow wire just remove it) you dont need to match the model or the brand of the fan
which one is best brand for psu among antec, corsair , thermaltech...???i want to buy antec vp450w psu.i have no ups . so please tell will this psu save my pc from over voltage or current?????
+Jayden Hubman Yes. I have done that. It does not seem to last that long. Less than a year. So for a real repair that will last for many years replacing the fan is best idea.

do you need a DC fan
and does the psu use a standard 3pin?
I had to splice in wires. Only two wires. Yes a DC fan.
you could just oil the fan
