How do I pay cash for the Havaist shuttle link from Istanbul city to the airport? It is just so confusing and crazy. Today I even went to the tourist information office & even they were confused. The Havaist helpline says you can pay in cash when you get on the shuttle bus but their website says differently. I have contacted the company directly who have also provided conflicting information. I just want to buy in advance my ticket using cash. If I pay with my credit or debit card I will incur extra charges ie a foreign transaction conversion fee. Surely, local Turkish people using this service are able to pay cash?

Only concession you get is you do not have to purchase a ticket again and again when you buy a cart and 50 pc concession is given for each ride. Now my rather foolish question is that when you insert 10 lira note in the slot do you get 10 lira credit or you get 4 lira back.?
