My wife and I moved to Milford from Norwalk last October, we're very impressed! Connecticut really has a rich New England charm about it and a fascinating history. In the fall, it's absolutely stunning! We've found Milford is much more welcoming on the middle class and they seem a little more reasonable on taxes as well! Even the beaches are great! The locals in Milford are some of the friendliest we've met in the state! Everything you could ever need is on Boston Post road. We're definitely considering settling down here! Thanks for the video.
@brendangallagher5336 I'm soo happy you love Milford!!! So do I - is it obvious? 😄 Hope you stay. It does have so much to offer for everyone. Great restaurants, great downtown, great beaches, history, shopping, convenience...the list goes on.
Number 8. Churches and a synagogue. Depending on your faith you can join the one you choose. And, the congregations are active in many areas, and even collaborate to improve the community. You will find you fit into the community yourself. I myself went to Sunday School in the Congregational church, in the 1940s, and it is still thriving. Thank you for sharing this!

The oyster festival has been using the green since the 70's.
I lift Milford 54 years ago and still remember some of the building.

I live in milford and the food is just 🎉wow🎉 my favorite place to eat is Goodies. their fries are just awesome. There is also beautifal views. I watched the solar eclipse here and it was awesome.
@levelairplane768playzroblo8 Goodies is great!!! Love their food. Always get it at Gulf Beach too when they open up for snack stand for the season.
You need to get out more. Goodies has nothing to do with Milford. Ive been there my whole life. Please don't let goodies tell people about Milford food.

Iv been to Milford many times. I live on the shoreline in Westbrook. Milford is nice. Hope you drive an SUV because the roads are poorly kept. That seems to be a CT problem though. Westbrook roads are probably worse.

Are the two towns have any low
income affordable housing for 3 to 4 bedrooms now
@melissastanley901 Milford does have some affordable housing but is currently in the process of developing more down near the train station
I have a kid graduating college in May, who just took a job in an oyster lab in Milford. He starts June 1. We live in FL and have never been to CT at all! Would love some guidance on where to look for affordable studio apts.
@vjhreeves - It depends on what you think is "affordable". I would say that you can get some good rental options in New Haven, West Haven, Milford and Stratford depending on your budget. Let me know if they need help.

Price of houses??
@Maricar Feightner Milford really has a wide range of prices from the low $300's to up to $3M (for homes right on the water). The median home price for June 2022 was about $438k

Hello. I appreciate your help by doing this videos, but at the same time I have to advise you something. Never ever choose scenic look over in winter times. They look depressed and send a negative effect for those who are looking for nice views of that place . Instead wait for Autumn or Sumer to shot nice environment that motivate people to go and see. I understand you are not a professional in tv or broadcasting work. But please never publish a video with such poor scenic panoramic. Thanks
Thanks for the tip, but as a realtor I needed to create videos that show real life here in CT and it happened to be winter when I started the channel. I do have more videos that show summer and springtime views of the same areas. It's not always beautiful here and it can be gray and snowy. I'm being realistic. I think that if you view more of my videos you will see that I give a well-rounded view of the areas.
