I felt the same. I was a panic buyer, or emotional buyer (not saying you are as well), so I pretty much can buy anything I want, but when my Dad struggled before passing, and it was during the pandemic, that I was willing to let go of everything just for him to survive. I felt the very same way - wala parang kwenta lahat. I was a collector, buyer and seller of luxury bags, construction corp owner, and rentals and etc. and imagine I was willing to let it all go - to buy my Dad his own high pressure ventilator (seen in hospitals) imagine my brain went overdrive - that money wasn't really that important during that time, I was ready to risk it all. And come another day, that he just left. What happened really changed my prospective in life - to enjoy more family time, and if anything good that came out of it was, the family is more intact now, and we are each other's support system.
