Black-owned businesses make less money than others: Statistics Canada

  • New data out from Statistics Canada shows Black-owned businesses have a lower profit margin than those owned by white Canadians or other racialized groups. Experts say a lack of business connections and access to capital are some of the reasons for the discrepancy.
