Hi Daniel. Fellow LEO here. Hey, I'm no construction expert and just started watching this video, but I'd probably run that downspout across the front of your new overhang and then down so you don't have to worry about driving over it all the time. Enjoy your videos!
@@NoelBOwens-fd4xz a couple heavy loads, and Dan will most likely have to route it up as most do professionally. Either way the idea of a rain catchment tank/piped straight into a waterer for the animals to drink in theory sounds wonderful. Yes there is city water there, but free water is free water am I correct!?
I was just thinking the last skid ster, I used was before you was even born yet! Some 46 years ago! Nice buck! Hope one of y'all get to make some sausage out of him. Y'all stay safe.
You’re right about the skid steer being a much handier tool! And they’re just a blast to operate! OMG that buck is absolutely beautiful! You best be going to the blind every evening until you put him in the freezer! Steve Cox Evansville IN
Looks great Daniel !!! Your place is looking fantastic. I am still waiting on my new Kubota tractor I ordered..was told 6 to 8 weeks..been almost 6 months..very frustrating 😑. Hope you all have a great week and God bless
Great video. I know you have a shiny new tractor but somehow you need to figure out how to get a skidsteer,of your own. It is like watching a kid with a favorite toy. It is always nice to be able to check things off your list. It is really nice that you have extending family in the area so tools and stuff always have a place to stay. I know that the goal of hunting is to bag your game but if you can’t do that you and Houston got a really great memory! Thanks for sharing!
Hahahahaha 😂DANIEL when you told BELLA to get back BEAR took his paw 🐾 and pulled EARL back away from you and rolled him over on the ground! Hahahahaha 😂🤣THAT BEAR IS A SMART DOG 🐕! Loved ❤️ it.
Glad to see you glued the PVC fittings. Our former neighbor did the dry fit, then duct-taped the joints, and buried them just barely below the ground surface. We live in a part of the country where it snows and the ground freezes. After the snow arrived, he was wondering why his sump pump ran so often. The underground drain pipes, attached to his downspouts, froze. By spring and summer, as his sump pump ran even more, he tried to blame us for the extra water he was having to deal with! Clearly, his PVC joints were leaking like sieves, with water soaking the soil less than 6 feet from his foundation. The builder had graded the land to slope away from his house, but he wanted it to be flat, so he dug the dirt, and moved to flatten the land. Yeah, he caused his own drainage issues. He sold his house 2 years later, never disclosing to the new buyers the handiwork he’d done. Yep, the sump pump continues to run just as often for these folks. I feel sorry for them.
LOL Daniel those sweet dogs think you are talking to them not the camera. Too funny. A lot accomplished. Not long and the winter winds will be a blowin.
I loved when you said 'Dogs get back.' Bear started to try and get Earl out from behind you. Bear listens very well! It cracked me up! You look so cute with a smudge of dirt on your nose.
Follow, Outdoors with the Morgans, to learn about grading and working with tractors, my fellow! What you did was just a dent of the whole process for what you are trying to accomplish.
All the dogs love helping you! So cute! The most beautiful creature I have ever seen was a Buck in all his glory, in the middle of rutting season. He was 10 feet away from me, he walk up to my drive away as I was unloading groceries! I did not panic nor did he! I talked gentle to him and told him how handsome he was, he just looked at me. He then just went on his way, I felt so honored to have seen him! I have played patty cake with a young raccoon though a window where I was inside and the raccoon was on my back porch eating some of my cats food! I have also made friends with several opossums which come to eat the catfood left overs, they really like Cheez Whiz which I fed them off of a large old spoon. I am also friends with a fox! I am very cautious, and know they are wild animals. This is why I could never hunt. I also lived in Colorado when the deer did not have enough food for a winter season and you would see them dead on the fences because of starvation they would die trying to jump a fence! I live in Virginia, near the Blue Ridge Mountains. Love you guys and admire all the had work you all do, I am 72 years old so I can not do all that hard work anymore!
Bear needs the white hat for supervisor. The only think with where it is - you might crush the pipe moving the tractor / any other machine over it. He is a nice size buck - not a bad thick neck. Stay safe & take care of you all. Thanks for sharing eh:))
I get so excited when you operate all the machinery. I wish I knew how as that would be fun. Oh my that sure was a fine looking buck. Thanks as enjoyed.
Good thing he got away. He still has some great breeding seasons ahead of him. We had one like that on my brothers Virginia farm. He sired many buck with genes. Another memory for the two of you. Making memories.
Have you thought about covering the open area between barn & overhang? Couldn’t you tack weld a 12” wide sheet of tin from barn to lean to allowing water to run away from building?
That might be just a case of tax on you land, in some places the larger a connected building the more your land tax will be, bad done places that doesn’t matter, that could a possibility. That’s the way a relative of mine is, he didn’t connect his house and shop together when he put a over head above his driveway. He could connect it to his house but not his shop, that also would avoid his insurance. So he has a inch gap between both the shop and the lean tube🤣🤣
I know Bear likes his pettins, but he makes sure to always look at the camera sayin "Hi y'all! Love ya too!" 😅 💖🐶 Also, you told them to get back & he was grabbing at Earl like "he said get back squirt, we got this!" Project is looking good!
Lol ❤️ Bear just wants to help dad do the digging! Bear was trying to move Earl out of the way!
I have such a great love for Bear!!!🇨🇦❤🇨🇦❤🇨🇦❤
@@jennifermassie7227 I think we all have a special place in our hearts for that guy.
@@sueplummer6669 he is such a sweet boy!! I laughed when he got grounded to the farm for sneaking off to see his girlfriend!! Lol

Check Facebook, Dan got the buck!
You can tell those puppies really love you Daniel.
Bear is pawing Earl and telling him to get back! 😂🤣😂
HE was just whispering let's go Brandon in his ear.... shhhhh! LOL JK

Or just ran an overhead gutter across and down... Like usual...
