This is such an amazing movie, I love that "Our black community" is being educated on various issues that are a hush hush, stigma, brush under the carpet aka bring shame to the family.
I like the fact that film makers are addressing some life issues, such special needs (Autism, Epilepsy, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, and ADHD-attention deficit hyperactivity disorder), emotional and physical abuse, partner intimate violence, stigma of fertility-never understood why the woman gets the blame in the relationship for lack of procreation, Christian hypocrisy, abortion, and mental health.
For all who invested in making this movie, thank you. I appreciate the storyline. This movie is an award-winning film. The main characters Yoyo and Ellie 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾, did very well. Pure Tears 😢😢😢😢😢😢. Very profound, impacting, and thought-provoking. Thank you for highlighting these issues that many face in life.

I swear, Seleye Fubara deserves an award for this role cos she killed it. I cried and laughed at the same time. I can really relate with this story cos there's this centre in my village where Priests take care of these children with special needs (Autism, Downs Syndrome and Cerebral Palsey), so I've seen first hand their behavioural pattern and Seleye did justice to it. These are the kind of realistic stories that should be told so that awareness can be created about them, it doesn't have to be love love all the time.

This movie is so emotional. I cry cause I remember how some people treated me,I get one eye and it was so difficult to be who I am today. I fight,people judged,humilated me even at work. But God is great,He make me passed every examens and i am a graduate. I married a doctor and I have a baby girl. Even my mother doesnt love me for that and she was not proud. I am happy after all. Even my father abandoned me. Jehovah is my father and mother. My mother said to me that she will never forgive herself cause she didnt kill me when she got birth to me. God is my joy.

I actually watched because of Fubara.
This movie almost describes me..
I took in during my waec and he loved and knew i was so innocent to abort.
He promised to visit but he left when he found out that my sis had seizures.
My family was disappointed but my mom was there for me.
I delivered my baby on my birthday (maybe god wanted to give her yo me as my special birthday gift)
We share the same birthday.
She looks so much like her dad.
I moved on..
Learned a skill.
Finished my computer training
Got a scholarship from my brother's boss!
I'll be leaving for university next year to study law.

I couldn’t stop crying. This was such an emotional movie. Ellie made me fall in love with her. And Yoyo, oh I have got mad love for Keira Hewatch, she is such a good actress. Their grandma was a good support system. This is what love looks like. This is what family means. Fubara ate the role, she ate and left no crumbs. Congratulations everyone in the cast and crew. This was a good movie. It’s an educative one. A child with special needs is not an imbecile.

Seleye Fubara, was definitely the stand out actor for me in this movie, I have 2 children on the Autism Spectrum and her depiction of an Autistic individual was very believable, Kiera I have seen in other movies and have found her to be an amazing actress, I prefer Nollywood movies that are not overtly indulgent on the romance side of things, I much prefer educational movies like these because it stretches the actors ability to dig deeper in terms of characterization, well done all, very enjoyable educational movie👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

This was an amazing movie! Respect for all of the actors and those who made this movie happen. Ms. Seleye Fubara portrayed her role with such accuracy. I recognized her character immediately, having worked with students with autism in the past. Not all autism presents in the same way (hence the spectrum), but I have seen this before. Well done also to Ms. Hewatch, and Mme. Edochie. I just love how well they understood Elizabeth, and Nurse Amaka was also very supportive. Great acting by Mr. Kachi, Ms. Chioma and the lady acting as his sister. This movie is in a class by itself! So substantial and brought so much awareness. Kudos, everyone!

Phenomenal acting by the entire cast. Ms Seleye Fubara and Ms Keira Hewatch were beautiful together. Ms Keira's character's emotions were spectacularly projected and Ms Seleye, you delivered in every capacity, as the writer, and in your portrayal of the character "Ellie". I believe "Ellie" had so much love to give because of how much love she had received from her family. The family's love, care, understanding, and willingness to sacrifice for one another was so strongly evident and this was portrayed in so many diverse ways (like the scene where "Ellie" didn't want to be touched by anyone). Mrs Rita Edochie's character "The grandmother" was such an amazing support system for her two girls and portrayed the definition of true Christianity, unlike "Mr. Ekene's" mother.
Mr. Desmond Elliot, the director, a job well done. All crew members, thank you for your work on this project.
So many lessons delivered, with just enough humor to douse the depth of emotions that were elicited.
This was a beautiful refreshing watch and a reminder that life does not always work out as we expect, but we can make the best of all situations especially if we have the right support system, like a loving family.

I wish I could like this 1 million times. I have watched so many movies, I'm not even going to say just Nollywood movies because this was one of the best movies I've ever watched. As everyone has already said, Seleye did an amazing job portraying her character. This is a great movie. The cast is great. The actress who played Elizabeth executed that role exquisitely . I have seen her in a few films and she always delivers. Very touching story. Have your napkins ready before watching.
Give it up for Seleye Fubara, cos she ate her role and the reason I clicked on this movie. I got emotional when she emotionally struggled to touch the child but went as far as carrying him to the hospital. Then coming out, realized she was barefooted but Eli 2's health came before her allergy to dirt. My favourite scene was the part where Eli held the bad woman down. Even though she was allergic to touch, she practically used her whole body to hold her down. Seleye has never disappointed my expectations. Even though I see her less in movies, her one is one. To Keira,you really acted out the best big sister and u deserve your flowers. And to the queen mother of tears,, no one and I mean no one does it better than Mrs Rita Edochie. I've missed her acting. This movie got me reminiscence on my past experience with my ex. My ex family didn't want their son to marry me because I grew up from a polygamous family. While watching this movie I cried, especially that part when Ella decided to leave because she felt she is the reason for her sister's pain and suffering. Yoyo is the kind of sister everyone should have, her selflessness is second to none. I swear this movie is a masterpiece. Eli deserves 100 awards she was magnificent, it's the first time I've watched Nollywood and seen a disabled character played so well. A matter of fact the whole cast was spectacular. I love the fighting seen, great lesson take your 💐💐💐💐
