Did my degree at this university from 2012 to 2015. Glad to see the area hasn't changed much, except for the Diamond, which was still under construction during my time. Best years of my life at this university. Hoping to come back next year for my masters.
There is a tram in the UK. However not just the UK but pretty much all European countries do not have many skyscrapers. This is because European countries have a lot of historic buildings and places and skyscrapers ruin that.
@@plipplop1769 it is one of the big reasons. Many European countries have an an absurd amount of regulations and criteria's you have to meet to put up a skyscraper. Ofcourse there are other big reasons like low population density.
@@damianxavier7343 I would consider that to be the biggest reason. I'm sure if european countries could stand to make more profit and see a surge in demand they would lower the regulations quite a bit. Especially in a place like sheffield where it seems quite empty even in comparison to other more densely packed european cities.
Would love to put in for MSc project management in construction course . January 2024 intake and I'm also open for scholarships of any kinds. Thank you
Many innovative touches have been added since 2002 when we did our course. Thanks a lot guys, I think you are not less than other innovation team. Amazing students ..

@@damianxavier7343 Uh i don't think that's the primary reason why Europe may have comparatively less skyscrapers than other places lmao.

Hey, I have a query. Why there is a "The" before 'University of Sheffield'?
I think it’s because Sheffield has 2 universities, the other being Sheffield Hallam.
A wise and sophisticated answer
