@DriveSteady I'm glad Alpina hasn't watered down the brand like AMG has. It seens like Mercedes-Benz will put the AMG label on just about anything these days, including lawn mowers, pencils, spoons, pillows. The lable "AMG" doesn't mean what it used to mean. Alpina still does.
@rivaldom8291 I'm well aware of their differences. Alpina takes BMW large sedans, yanks out the engines, increases the horsepower, changes the interiors, and adds some flair to the exteriors. Alpina is independent of BMW. AMG used to be independent of Mercedes. When they were independent, they did to Mercedes large sedans what Alpina is still doing to BMW large sedans. When Mercedes acquired AMG, they slowly began to put "AMG" on anything with an engine. They've watered down the brand.

That is not possible. The vin is a BMW, any 7 series with bonnet or trunk lid is aftermarket and considered a fake.

That bumper is actually different than a regular 7 series.
