I’m a new free motion quilter and Just finished quilting my first feather border. I was really surprised and it was your videos that helped me get through it! I quilted a whole quilt just swirls but I haven’t perfected the long swirl. I’m looking forward to learning! Thank you for your wonderful videos!!
Thank you ! More on how to use threads in the future please! I would like to use multi colors but many times have a plain back that’s when I get lost and or afraid to use different colors Also you may have a glitch I never was notified about the swirl challenge starting
Angela, do you recommend stitching around the motifs in the panel following the black lines. Other instructors I have listened to, suggest stitching in the ditch around blocks before quilting inside the block. I know that if you are quilting an all over design, edge to edge, you wouldn’t do this. But on this panel, I’m not sure whether to do that or not. I’m not worried about the layers shifting much, as I spray baste. Thank you and really enjoy watching your videos.
I have the panel and thread kit, but what colors do I use where? Definintely need help figuring that out. Looking forward to starting on these swirls. Watching along from Taiwan. :)
I can't participate in the Thursday chat re: Swirls class, however I have a question. My first couple of swirls are good but then I keep stitching my subsequent first hook too close to the existing swirls - not leaving myself enough room to echo to the OUTSIDE. Could I be a natural INSIDE swirler and stop trying the other way?
I have a terrible time trying to free motion quilt. I can’t get my hand and the machine going at the same speed. Do you have any tips? Also what is echo
You do make it look so easy and flawless. I could watch you all day.
Love, love, love the pdf file and the classroom format for the videos. Thank you so much.
Loving the swirls challenge. And I like everything is in one pdf and we don’t have to download every week. Thank you Angela.
I have to tell you that I love your sense of humor. I haven’t actually started yet but after watching the video, I’m working up the courage. Thanks!
Thank you for all you do. This is amazing. Your such a fantastic teacher.

Love your enthusiasm and thanks for sharing.
I ordered the panel. Looking forward to getting started. I will practice on a square sample first to learn the motion.

Got my order in.
I just finished a quilt of valor on my longarm, so I am about to decide which of my finished tops will be best for swirls. I have several choices.
What video series would you recommend to watch for a brand new free motion quilter on a domestic machine?
