As usual the sharpest and most precise foot work comes from Karina.
Ok, thanks. I would like DWTS to bring him back. Not that I don't like the other male pros but sometimes it would be nice to see a different pro in the mix.
Well I have to say that Karina always stands out, she's the best!!
I'm from Brazil and respect Samba presented in International Ballroom, there's a lot of discipline involved...those sharp movements and hip action are phenomenal...love it!

Okay, I think that was Marlee Maitlin, but I didn't watch that season much. I worked the nights DWTS was on and our office didn't have sound to our tv. I'll have to go into youtube to research that. But thank you for responding.
Omg LOVED the feel of it! It captured the rhythm and the zest of the music, and it was FUN and it made me smile, so I loved it! And I thought I detected a little Salsa in there! Loved it! Love when the pros dance, much more than when the "stars" dance ;)
guys, the problem is that the international ballroom samba is completely different from the original brazilian samba - that is a solo dance. Our ballroom samba is called "gafieira" and have no step in common with the international style. =] Search for "gafieira" on youtube... it's a very beaytiful dance too. =] That's why a lot of brazilian keep saying that the dwts samba isn't samba at fact.

Is it just me, or does this look more like a mambo until the last 30 seconds (then it looks like ballroom samba)?
It's ballroom samba you never get the actual dances on the show. But I still like ballroom it's nice and entertaining.
