Trevor, I really love your style of instruction. Adult learning principles at its very finest.

Great instructional technique. Love the Roadrunner as a kiting wing as well. Small enough to be easy to manage but big enough to translate well to a full-size wing.

Trevor, you have such a calm way to teach the students. I always appreciated that. I try to emulate you when I help someone new to kiting, the calm way of speaking really makes a difference, and they seem to have a better results. Good job with that student, he's learning from the best!

I spent a lot of time not understanding how to keep the wing overhead. It was an "ah ha" moment when I got an instructor to show me that I was over controlling and that there is a sweet spot that you want to keep the wing at. I love the way you teach here, I could have saved myself a lot of grief if I had a good instructor from day 1. Bad habits are hard to fix, but not impossible. Good instruction like this is worth it's weight in gold! Bravo!

Love this! Thanks for sharing your field coaching. I've improved my own kiting skills and realized mistakes by applying what I hear you share on these vids. Top work!

The subtle comments you don't get unless you are there. Great job as an instructor..

I've had 4 flights and still cant reverse kite worth a shit. Doesnt bother me because i dont plan of flying in reverse kite conditions. Good job buddy.

Uh you should know how to do that

    • @libertyforamericanow

@@TrevorSteele1 yeah, i can control it pretty good by holding the a risers and d risers but when i just use breaks and shifting in the harness i never put the time in. My niviuk link 2 doesn't seem to be the easiest wing to learn to reverse kite, plus when i was training there was never any decent wind to learn from. I had my forward kitting down really good before my first flight.
I plan on doing some reverse kiting practice soon. I haven't flown in almost 3 months because its been so windy in Florida and i cant get up real early. Those other guys are launching in the field at 7am. I just cant get up and woke up enough to fly that early. All my flights so far have been evening flights.
