Actually if you think about it closely, the Tecumseh curse is still thriving in a different role. The 2000 election was a farce that ended in a court battle. a year later, 9/11 happened followed by years of tumultous wars. Its 2020 and guess what? We got Coronavirus-19, murder hornets, and riots. Trump is an extremely unpopular President who shows signs of autotariaism.

This memory was sparked by the story of the absent choir. When a train traveling from the blue mountains to Sydney Australia there were less people on the train than normal and so less people died. As I write I remember I was in an acting co. That had a play called "6:04 to eternity". The time of the train left the blue mountains that ran into the bridge at Granville a suburb of Sydney.

I have friends/colleagues who swear up and down, they saw my doppelganger. One day, I was enjoying a bit of time off from work when my roommate (and co-worker) called me. I was immediately suspicious he might be trying to summon me to work...but he was not the boss, so had no such authority. So I answered, and he said "Where are you?!"
"I'm, at home, getting drunk!" I said, establishing early my inability to work.
    "You been there all day?"
    "Yuh"
"I swear you were just here! Not five minutes ago! But you were ordering like a customer! I was like, what the h** is he doing here? Some kina practical joke?"
EDIT: Folks say I look like Pedro Pascal (and I agree, if we were compared with him today, and me 17 years ago), and I live in a place that is commonly visited for TV and film production. Seems possible they may have seen him or a look-alike at my former place of employment, which happily catered to the public.

Sorry. I really don't know. This is just the way I've always heard it pronounced.

@@johnbarber4549 just how us Nebraskans decided to say it. We also have a town Norfolk that we say as Norfork. I feel like everyone has a different story of why lol

Actually the peer reviewed study shows that on average each of the choir members had a 1 in 4 or 25% chance of being late on any given day so still pretty crazy odds when you have a factor of fifteen!! :)

Pertaining to Tecumseh's curse. 7 presidents fall to it. In decision making natives use the 7 generation rule. So Reagan surviving makes sense. It was never broken it just ran its course.

Cant be the same baby, babies grow up. Must have been the same child, once a baby, later it fell as a toddler.

Re: The Joseph Figlock coincidence, the titles on screen say, "The SAME baby fell from the SAME window." That's not what you say happened. It was different babies, though that's coincidence enough.

I've heard about the guy who saved the children before.the parents must have been so relieved! One of my Maltese great grandfathers Emmanuel musket was a sailor who got a job as a stoker on the titanic and then the Lusitania but both times he was two hung over to get there!

Love your channel, but Appomattox was not the last battle of the Civil War, it was the last battle for the Army of Northern Virginia. There were many skirmishes fought in the following weeks.

Strangest is the John Adams and Thomas Jefferson who had one of the most interesting and important relationships in US History as first allies and friends, then founders of the political party system in the US and enemies, then later friends again with perhaps the most important long train of correspondence in US History. Turns out they died the same day, the 4th of July 1826 the 50th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence whose writing and ratification they are most famous for.

Edmond Halley's surname rhymes with alley, as in cat. The Ae-lee error is due to a band call "Bill Haley and His Comets".
