Our own Man TGE 3.180 4x4 8 speed Auto Combi van. It’s our new project!

So we have decided to replace our ever faithful VW Amarok V6 with this 2022 Man TGE 3.180 4x4 Auto Combi van. Here’s a video as it’s arrived. We are going to tailor it to a specification that works for us. We started with a high spec Lion XS model with about £6k of extras fitted. Thought we would make a video diary of its progress as we never really do stuff like this, so bear with me, they’ll be lots of ums and arghs as I make it up I go along!

How long is the load space from doors to bulkhead?

Is the 3 seat cargo bulkhead from factory or is an aftermarket part?
Is there enough space in the back to fit a dirt bike with these seat ?

Hi. We bought it as factory, although I suspect they are converted post production line. Yes we had two Husky 701’s side by side in the back

Is the road tax worth it? It looks very cool for a conversion

Wish we hadn’t sold this one! For us it was more useful as a Combi van. Road tax on all commercials is the same so just £320 for 12 months

Bloody loads of money. The prices have gone up by something like £10k since we owned this 🙈 Wish we hadn’t sold it.
