This is what i remember from marss back in the days calm and genuine but fancy it just gives me chills and hypes watching him compete great stuff marss
The man's not afraid to style in high stress bracket situations, so fun to watch
This feels like a 2019 grand finals
MARS IN FINALS IS CRAZZYYY
Wow Ultimate without Steve and Sonic isn't the worst thing ever
It's almost like tournaments should ban boring, op characters so that the community is more hyped for sets and new people have a better chance of winning.
Aren't these older players too
@@BrandonPlaysStuff Yeah but at least they play interesting characters. Fox is high tier and very strong, but takes a lot of skill and precise movement. ZSS is just a mediocre character but has some good moves that can string into strong combos. All in all, they're both characters that take skill and aren't overpowered to the point of being boring to watch.
Edit: spelling error.
Isn't two Steve's in top 8
This is what it used to be
2:06 Massive brain play
Not sure if you’re being sarcastic but that trade was absolutely worth it
The middle finger from light did great
I love after game 1 you just see on Marss face how mad he is like "Really?" Light clutching out the win is so funny
if marss took game 1 he was winning that tourney..
I could just feel the complaint about ZSS being trash. Lol Failing to kill with a throw at 160 and then dying at 70 is so sad. He was outplaying for about a minute before that stray nair landed.
@@TheSilvershadow200there was also so many times when he got a fair edge guard that just dropped and saved light
@@TheSilvershadow200 I'm assuming it was stale by that point, because it seems like that should have killed otherwise.
He would’ve took it if that up throw didn’t killscreen since if it didn’t light wouldn’t be able to react with di
Nah if anything getting the reset would’ve sealed Light winning. He turns into a monster the longer he plays.
Without the seat buff however…
20:00 them casually missing every single hit
This is the game I love. Players like Light and Marss allow some glimpse of a different game to peak out from behind the curtain of what much of Ultimate has become.
no steve... no sonic... I miss 2019 😞
Shoot that first set was crazy
Is smash Brothers hype now? have we reached a new era?
Only when marss and light are there
Banger Grand Finals!!
Peak set, I really wish Marss didn't get so greedy at the end, though...
my guy the video came out a minute before you wrote this
@@definitelydoctorproctor He could've been in the live audience lol
Or just watching the stream yesterday
It said 36 seconds ago for me lol, but yes I did watch the set live
@@definitelydoctorproctor my guy, everyone but you watched it live
Both players did amazing!
flip kick nerf lost marss the tournament 😭
PS2, T&C, PS2, PS2, T&C
Five games, TWO stages
I’d settle for one stage if it means we get to see some real smash bros! None of this Steve and Sonic sadness
pre DLC era ass grands
Seat switch lost Marss the set tbh
My favorite part was in game 5 when light got on his last stock he said “ITS LIGHTING TIME” and the proceeded to use his fox fire powers to light Marss on fire and win wavelength
Lmao Mars’s being a better player in the first game and then getting robbed made me dislike the video
ZSS sux
L
I could see marss playing snake tbh
Kinda odd to randomly upload grands lol
First
ZSS sux
