Nah fr Marrs appearance making me nervous. I mean sure, it's not noticeable in his gameplay, that's where he's calm and collective. But in real life he looking sweaty.
@gianz2066 I picked this up as well. There are a handful of times where his nervousness shoes up in his plays, which reminds me of what a lot of people who are close to being true professionals do, and that thing is panick/nervousness. On some accounts, he may show it physically, but it usually comes up through his plays. He's good when he can flow, but tends to falter when the stakes are high or gets frustrated, as opposed to people like spargo or sonix who are typically a bit more consistent, with spargo being the slightly more desperate of the two.

@@BrandonPlaysStuff Yeah but at least they play interesting characters. Fox is high tier and very strong, but takes a lot of skill and precise movement. My favorite thing about Light vs Marss sets is how player-vs-player they are. Light using Up Smash like 3-4 times during the first stock to break Marss’ confidence, Marss mashing f-tilt at the end of game 1 because he knows Light wants to swing Then obviously Light flips him off and Marss just smiles
Marss had all the momentum in game 4 then switched his playstyle for some reason after taking the first stock. His aggression was working perfectly then he changed to being much more evasive, and Light came back at him.
Fr, he lost the set bc of that. I don't think Light would have switched seats if Marss had asked. Marss was coming from losers bracket anyway, why so desperate for any edge?
Still feels so bad that they absolutely cucked Zss in later patches meanwhile we have the boring ass top tiersm anyways good shit to both of these players, love that Marss is competing again.
I feel like so many smash commentators lately are doing too much, you don't have to have one or the other speaking 24/7. Made this hard to watch personally since they never stopped narrating every single move.
@@Jayiv863 Fair, I was as well but I suppose from the perspective of watching smash specifically it takes away from the more special popoff moments to me. I really disliked Light changing seats and, I really feel that it should not have been allowed, like, what if Mars liked that spot?... we know mars, when asked about it he would be like "yeah shwhatever..." , BUT anyway it kinda ruined his focus on this one, or something... As in any other professional sport, TO's should have a rule about this to be managed properly. (Or, is there anything already being done about this in Smash tournament?, I dont know, I've never seen it before) I know it sounds a bit silly, but just think about it, even in pro sports like soccer, football, volleyball or tennis, teams choose a side of the field at the start of the game so this variable becomes as "regulated" as possible, each team then plays their strategy from there. In here light asked for the change just cause he was not playing comfortably enough... I dont know man, It really adds noise for me.
Seat changing has actually been in the rules even on the grand stage of EVO.
