I’m a Trump supporter and yet I still agree that the trial should be televised. In our eyes, the circumstances surrounding the case might lead to Democratic influence rocking the court and tainting the integrity of the trial. We want to make sure that everyone plays by the rules - the defense, the prosecution, even the judge. We won’t allow anything unjust to slip past.
Their not going to televise it, because that's the standard with court proceedings like this. If you bring press in it, it supposedly tampers the preceding, as juror's don't take it seriously. However you will have members of the press on both sides in the court room writing down what is being witnessed, so no chance of tampering ether way.

Those politicians aren't involved in politics because of the actual issues. They are involved in politics to have an easy, and high paycheque that they can manage to do very little to get. That's why they are there. Many are failed lawyers. Lawyers who couldn't figure out how to chase ambulances to make a living. Do you think they really put much effort into running a country. There are a small number of politicians who actually do the job properly, and you never usually hear about them or see them do their work because they don't look for recognition from anyone, they just do everything they can do to make their country, province/ state, city...the best they can while the politicians that are high profile take the credit for things they had very little hands in accomplishing.

Trump lost the election by less than 50 thousand votes in about five states. If they had put this effort into running the country and the 2020 election they probably could have won. But Trump is lazy, and reactionary.

That is what I thought and believed until I actually took time to think how that would go. Trump and others behavior would completely change in the fact he would become a circus barker more than a defendant and the court room would break out in chaos on multiple occasions. However I still strongly believe it should be televised for public consumption due to how interested and meaningful it would be to the American public. It's a toss up and the side of precedence might have to win out.
